Lol JEEP one of the worst carmakers in the world...other than ford...american cars are almost as bad as chinese ones when it comes to reliability...I had a JEEP grand cherokee a few years back...supposedly their best car...IT WAS A PIECE OF JUNK...talk to this gentleman and other indian buyers after just 3 years of ownership...then ask them if they wish they had bought a Safari or XUV....LMAO

Wo ek aisi gadi hai jisko company bhi banake bhul chuka hai. Agar capabilities ki baat ki jaye to wo gadi fortuner se bhi jyada capable gadi hai. Lekin capable hona kafi nehi hai. Xuv700 ke liye company ne hype banai thi agar wohi cheez g4 ke liye ki jati to aaj wo gadi band hone ki kagar pe nehi khadi hoti. Us gadi ko jo respect or appreciation milni chahiye wo use kabhi nehi mili na hi logon se nahi company se.

Sadly alturas G4 is discontinued now.... And alturas G4 uses Mercedes company's gear box, so after discontinued, the parts will available but they will way more costly.... I was considering to buy G4 but sadly I have to cancel the plan

Bro this is pseudo 4*4 car. It doesn’t have differential setup so basically it’s an AWD. But still the off-road is good but not that great because of approach angle and low ground clearance. Also decent angle is quite less. We have compared it with thar and it’s no way near to that car but good on highways

@BRANDED 55 I disagree. It is the superb handling which keeps the car well in control. Yes there are lots of other factor as well for accident but I have been driving it since last 3 years and trust me it is fun to drive specially on highways.

I have driven jeep manual top model diesel for a test drive... Engine is responsive but price n seating capacity with boot felt we shouldn't.. ground clearance was to look out in an SUV .. Duster had 210 mm compared to 180... XUV giving 2.2 189hp compared to same fiat soure engine used in Harrier 170hp 2l engine...

Rattling sound when doing off-road ( it's a 4X4) it's meant for off-road driving 🤦🏽‍♂️ When driving under 50 , engine is not smooth..delhi roads are 50 km speed only... Very stable at 180, how many times one can drive at 180 ? Nice review however looks very expensive,..owner is satisfied and that's what matters. Best of luck

@@powerslavenegi compass is a capable SUV bro, performs good in snow, slush, sand and muddy terrains. I live in Manali, and AWD or 4x4 is a boon here, because of rain, snow and slush, we don't need much ground clearance here unless you want to cross a river.
