"Sadomasochist, P*** Film On STEROIDS!" | Julia Hartley-Brewer SLAMS 'Overtly Sexual' Eurovision
Julia Hartley-Brewer slams the 'overtly sexual' performances at the Eurovision song contest.
"It’s no longer a happy, fun, family viewing singing contest. Now it’s basically a sadomasochist, gay porn film on steroids!"
The United Kingdom’s Olly Alexander finished Eurovision in 18th place with 46 points after he was awarded zero in the public vote.
He and his team reacted jovially as the United Kingdom was the only country to not score from the audience tally, after his performance of song Dizzy at Malmo Arena on Saturday night.

Maybe Baby Lasagna would have won if he was gay or non binary. Instead, here you have a nice, polite, regular guy who always speaks how he loves his family and most of all enjoys spending time with them. And says a prayer before he goes to perform. this is a guy you can be proud to watch with your family. You'll get a catchy fun song you can sing and dance to woth no scandals. But, we didn't win even thought the whole arena sang Rim tim tagi dim. On the other hand, when people asked Bambi Thug what makes her special, she said: "I'm queer and I'm a witch". Wow, that's her whole personality.

Exactly. I was watching it with my parents (they are both 59, I am 32 and visted their place over the weekend) and we were all shocked on how overly sexualized the entire show was. The German act had to cut out the word "sh*t" from his lyrics, but half naked bdsm guys with their ass cheeks hanging out, a guy prentending (?) to be naked down there, a woman wearing a see-through onsie and a group of boxer guys making obvious sexual poses were seemingly fine. Smh.
I stopped my 13yo and 8yo from watching. My 15yo cried and she’s no tender soul- we watched this as a family when her dad was alive. This show broke her heart. The booing of a young girl was a disgrace, the disgraceful disqualification of the Dutch entry telling someone to stop filming him. But our entry was stimulating sex in a shower room. It was vulgar and disgusting. It used to be a funny celebration of our differences and the odd good song. That show was a disgrace. My daughter really was in tears- because that show had become something much more vicious and explicit. When will we stop the sexualisation of our children- again not a prude and I accept all identities. But if a straight couple was stripped and dry h**ping in front of my children I’d have serious words. But we had a literal dirty devil, mocking faith, overt sexual behaviour and shameless political rhetoric on stage! Not a happy mother after that!

My daughter went to school today- her friends are Italian, and French. Both were appalled and all three were disgusted with the vile sexualisation. I know the Irish entry may be a satanist or whatever the name is but they all found the abuse of Israel’s entry horrifying and Ireland’s entry was mocking Jesus Christ with the crown of the thorns. It’s fine to not be Christian, it’s fine to have no faith or worship satan. But mocking Jesus’s suffering and abusing a young woman because she’s Jewish is disgusting! They don’t think they’ll watch next year- and my daughter said it’s so so upsetting because all the happy memories of the silly acts and ludicrous songs were with her and me and her dad! Now it’s just in the gutter and something disturbing. It’s a relief we’re not alone but I have been called a bigot! When I simply don’t wish to watch or let my kids watch cottaging.

The public vote for Israel was far more impressive and crushing than people realize, because 14 of the nations voted Israel first as well as the rest of the world vote, and most of those 14 nations were the larger more populated European nations ,and if we use the stats from the semifinal voting as a probable example of how most of the nations voted, where the italian televote for israel was almost 40 % of their total vote with the Netherlands 2nd at 7%...then we can safely assume that those countries that voted for Israel did not simply vote Israel first ,but overwhelmingly so, so overwhelming that if in all probability the votes for Israel in pure numbers were probably 4 to 5 x more than that of Croatia ,let alone switzerland which won.i think people worldwide saw this as an opportunity to voice their opinion on what is happening in the Middle East, and their opinion on blatant anti-semitism that is so prevalent at this time.they voiced their opinion unequivocally and unanimously in solidarity with the people of israel and Jewish people worldwide.the people have spoken.

Eden Golan had the best song, she was classy and won the people's heart

Is that why she was booed loudly and didn’t even win the popular vote?
Political freak show🤮
The Roman Empire collapsed because of extravagance, weakness, decadence and sexual deviance. The so called "Western civilization" is heading that way. The Eurovision Song Contest epitomizes the decline.

It is like the fall of Rome
The Irish entry puts The Exorcist to shame.
I'd vote for Fathers Ted and Dougal singing 'My lovely horse.' It's better than a lot of what I saw last Saturday.
I couldn’t stomach this filth, let alone children. Let them keep their innocence as long as they can.🤔
Its now in 2024 just a flesh for fantasy show its no longer a family show and this year there was not one great song I can write a better song in my sleep

just isreal
All the hatred that some of the contestants gave to the Israeli contestant was heartbreaking. Yet majority of them all did worse than her (Only Switzerland did better overall but televote was still worse). Yet, Eden always kept her composure and positivity. That’s what the contest is about.
I liked the fact the Israeli entry had clothes on, was very much binary and could sing.
should be banned for ever after that made me feel sick
She’s not a Goblin, she’s a Gremlin!

It's an insult to both Goblins and Gremlins to suggest Julia Hartley-Brewer is either of those!! 🙂
I once by mistake attended a film with a friend at a gay film festival at a family type cinema - it was not well advertised as such but it was my own fault. I only spotted the sign on the way out. A number of people got up and walked out during the screening and I still have to flush my eyes out with jeyes fluid from time to time to try and rid myself from the images shown on screen & I am a reasonably tolerant individual.
Thunburg the hateful goblin. Sums her up totally

calling someone hateful and then a goblin doesn’t help your point
This Eurovision monstrosity needs to be scraped.
The BBC should have issued trigger warnings on the UK entry and the Irish and Switzerland.
The moment Oli appeared on screen, I was certain that this was a parody. 😂😂😂😂

It was vile
Cancel Eurovision please
I wonder how Abba would perform today
The funny thing is that competition got so bad reputation because of what happened to Edan .. Eurovision has been like this for past years ..
Oh Julia I didn't realize about the Portuguese singer having the Palestine flag nails, So that's why the UK jury gave them 12 points !! and Israel NUL. If the BBC picked the jury I expect one of the box tickings was they had to support Hamas.

Could Julia Hartley-Brewer just stop talking occasionally and allow her guests to make their contributions without constant interruption? She's sometimes painful to watch.

Satanic is not too extreme a word for it.
Does anyone remember the days when Eurovision was a singing competition and with the help of Terry Wogan, we had a right good laugh? It is the systematic destruction of enjoyment and entertainment. It used to be great to be amused for for a while, ie we could escape for a few hours. I was at a musical show just before Christmas and it was just one big WOKE FEST. I was bored, annoyed that my childhood memories of the story had been destroyed and I couldn't wait to leave the theatre. The show was awful and I was very disappointed. Those were the days before all of this angry political nonsense. I miss them and I didn't realise how lucky and happy, we were. It was great just to escape for a couple of hours. 🏴🏴🇬🇧🇬🇧
I miss the times when the funny monsters Lordi were on Eurovision.
