Sadhvi Bhagawati - "The State of Joy" - Ojai, CA August, 2014
Sadhvi Bhagawatiji explains how pursing happiness actually leads us away from joy. "Joy is not a path -- it's a state that can only happen in this moment..."

If you are miserable in the room alone, chances are you are the cause! Perfect!
Excellent talk Sadhviji. Perhaps the Declaration of Independence should have been written as "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness from within..." Over the course of a few centuries, the impact of "from within" probably would have resulted in an American culture and society with greater spiritual sensitivities and proclivities.
🙏 jai ho maàa dhanya h aap
I wonder about the people that give thumb down.
Great talk. Let's feed it to the subconscious mind using PSYCH-K process highly recommended by Dr. Bruce Lipton. I will be teaching it in India in Oct 2017. Thanks Sadhviji! Rita Soman

Rita Soman hi Rita, I just saw your comment, are you giving any class (PSYCH-K) in USA?
Happiness can only be found within. Lord Krishna says that a person must be without jealousy (for all living beings), must be friendly and compassionate to all, must be selfless and not have ownership, must be without ego, and must be even minded during happiness and sorrow. One must discard any connection with what is worthy and what is worthless. Lord Buddha says that we must all follow 8-fold path and those who follow will feel that there is Buddha nature in us all. That kind of state of mind leads to happiness. I am glad Dear Bhagwati Saraswati, you are keeping statue of Buddha with you. He was undoubtedly the greatest teacher.
OK it is parmarth neketan

At 23:00...Sri Swaminiji says "we are created"....in Hinduism...there is no concept of creation (as in abrahamic religions). It is always manifestation. And it is "as though" manifestation. (2) The problem she says is that of "awareness". (3) Meditation is the key. 2 and 3 are problematic, per hinduism. She never talks about (1) Ignorance and its removal with Guru using Vedanta/Jyanum as pramana. Per Vedanta: As the pramana handled by a Guru from a serious lineage, you ALREADY are state of Ananda. All that needs is removal of ignorance. Meditation is not the key to knowledge. Meditation can only do "chit-shuddi" which allows us to drop the blockages to allow the learning from Guru to take place.,,,merely a tool.
To spare you rebuke from theologians, it's worth mentioning the(ir) assertion that the Constitution doesn't "give us" unalienable rights, but rather mentions those rights with which we are "endowed by (our) Creator."

This is a gem, especially from the Upanishads mantra going forward.
First, never trust an adult woman who speaks with a childs voice. Second, anyone can ACT as if they are enlightened and forever in a state of bliss, those who promote it are ego driven and false🙏
She is wonderful and I love listening to her talk but her Sanskrit pronunciation is a problem. That mantra - purna sounds porn! It's not her fault but English speaking people can't pronounce Sanskrit - so perhaps it's better to avoid Sanskrit or get someone else to say the mantra. Otherwise great! 👌👌👌 Namoskar 🙏
