Sadhguru did not mention the fourth sight of Siddhartha when they came across a monk: ~ The Fourth Sight On the fourth day, Siddhartha encountered what seemed to be a poor man (the fourth sight) who wandered the countryside without a home or material things. Siddhartha noticed the man looked quite peaceful and serene. Channa, his chariot driver, described how the poor man abandoned a worldly life for a more tranquil existence. Prince Siddhartha was attracted to this idea. He pledged to live the rest of his life roaming in hopes of encountering wise men who could help him discover ways to end pain and misery. He also vowed to discover the true meaning of life.

@@magiccarpet6230 enlighten being is free from greed, hate, delusion. It is one mind that is liberated from samsara as explain by the BUDDHA. Sadhguru is entertainer of words in conceptual world. He speaks on every topic just to make people more hypnotised on him and to build his dreams and foundation. It does not lead anyone to enlightment as taught by the BUDDHA. He thought enlightment is simply act and behave well and the ways he emphasise in his own assumption that enlightment is just so easy. He is taking everyone in merry go round. He thought BUDDHA is a small parts of siva. What a funny ideas he has? The BUDDHA say anyone being that teach other the wrong way will bear its own bad karma.

Anyone with some spiritual attaintment would never take refuge in Sadhguru. He says some good stuff but he also makes things up. An enlightened being is incapable of lying, of making things up. Perfect sila means no lying for any reason, least of all to intoxicate the naive listeners. Please refer to the Kalama Sutta to develop the critical eye. Good luck my friends

MindfulWarrior mân i had watched that video too.. but i dont think he is trying or his desire was to elevate shivâ over buddhâ.. he is just saying the fact... shiva is super ultimate... he is the root of everything... the yoga.. meditation.. the way of making mantra everything is based on that culture.. so the root is root dude.. but of course buddha was also a highly respected super humân.. and he deserved thât but.. we cant compare the shiva with anyone..

Sudin, the fact that you think Shiva is higher than Buddha, Sadhguru is successful in convincing you of comparing something incomparable. It's incomparable not because one is higher than other. It incomparable because neither you nor Sadguru understand who Buddha is and the Pari-Nirvana he had realized. Shiva is a myth like Greek god Zeus. Buddha was a human being like Jesus who had actually lived on this earth and left evidence of his existence and teaching.

Correct the mistakes in the sub titles otherwise remove them

The title itself is wrong. The Budhha's enlightenment has nothing to do about the discovery of highest within. The idea of discovering God within is the Vedantic idea if one may say so. In fact this is a distorted interpretation of Budhha's mission. It is not a Budhhistic idea. The Budhha's enlightenment is about the discovery of how to combat suffering through compassion and understanding.

The load budhdha's saied "Anuchcha", "Dukka","Anaththa" which us making our life cycle continously.. Anichcha mean unsaturated of requirement or need. any of the input of our eyes, heares, toung, nose, sking and mind is will not make fully saturated continusly.. then all of us hardly trying to satisfy and make saturated those input. but it will never able to complte.. then next step is crate "duka" or sadness. this is the budhdas saied. if any body avoid this sadness by him self he or she will be joyfull in total life.. this is simple brife

I am really confused!! I did not find any sense!! I tried to come up with an understanding but I could not find one! What Gautama's got when he is being in the state of enlightenment! From the story that narrated by Sadhguru, I found Gautuma find nothing! So, I can conclude two scenarios whether you like it or not!! 1) Gautama's instructions were revised and changed to make everybody confused!. OR 2) Gautama's instructions are nothing!!

With all due respect. One important lesson I hope that Buddha taught, and I think it true. Wasn't it about not clinging to dogma. Dogma being that human creation that leads us to say things like Buddha said or Buddha didn't say. I understand that he may not Have been to thrilled about us claiming what he said or didn't say. For the rest of us who are still living in samsara with our ignorance, it’s still important to distinguish things, to speak up when someone is distorting and writing fiction. If Sadhguru doesn’t know what he is talking about, he should close his mouth. Instead he markets himself by bringing up the Buddha and Buddhism while completely butchering the Buddha’s history and his ideas. (I wouldn’t even be listening to this guy if his Buddha in the title didn’t come up on my search.) So no, get along for getting along sake has no value here. People need to speak up when someone is lying. Else the Christian bible or Hinduism or Islam ends up being Buddhism after another 1000 years of distortions and lies.

In the "Brahmajala Sutta in Dheega nikaya (in sutta pitaka)", Thathagatha Sammasambuddha is exposing the reality of these kind of fake, con-artists hidden truth. source: www.accesstoinsight.org/tipitaka/dn/dn.01.0.bodh.html Mr.Sadguru seems to have a respect towards Thathagatha Sammasambuddha, but in the view point of him(Thathagatha Sammasambuddha) being an incarnation/avatar of vishnu(or something as "wrongfully" mentioned in hinduism), not for the wisdom that he spread during his 45 years of existence as the supreme ("human") teacher of devas, brahmas and humans. Also, in the "Mulapariyaaya sutta in majjima nikaya" where Thathagatha Sammasambuddha is explaining how deluded are people (specially people like Mr.Sadguru) about their very existence (from page 83 in the source I'm attaching herewith). source:lirs.ru/lib/sutra/The_Middle_Length_Discourses(Majjhima_Nikaya),Nanamoli,Bodhi,1995.pdf Teachings of Thathagatha Sammasambuddha isn't a simple, ordinary thing like hinduism. It is absolutely not. Ask any Buddhist who have studied the scriptures and the life of Buddha. Sadghuru would better serve the world if he would study the Buddha's life and his teachings correctly. He would know that what the Buddha realized is beyond what Sadghuru and everyone knows of "Moksha". It's beyond just becoming "one with the cosmos", it's the liberation from all cycles. Dont get me wrong. I have much respect for Sadghuru for what he's accomplished and what he's doing but he doe not truly undertand the Buddha and his realization.

+MindfulWarrior, I couldn't follow what your problem is? Is it about the trivia or is it about the fact of Buddha's enlightenment!? Agreed that Sadguru did not understand Buddha! Can you claim that you have understood Buddha completely and comprehensively!? Many of his direct disciples themselves didn't understand his teachings in the correct perspective! That is how we have so many branches, i.e., Mahaayaana, Hinaayaana, Zen and a host of other schools and sub-schools in the post-Buddha era! No one can claim that he is the ultimate authority on these matters!

All spiritual leaders and Holy Men are con men who prey on the gullible. How does a person who claims to be enlightened know they are enlightened? It is impossible to know something that you don't know. He is a Wordsmith and like all Wordsmiths he has the ability to make bullshit palatable.
