Sadhguru- I am not really a person, that's my problem

- I don 't know how to add pluses and minuses to me when I don t exist as a person.
-your experience of life, whether you experience joy or misery,
it happens from within you.
-what happens within you must be determined by you.
-If you are miserable what it means is, even what happens within you is enslaved to something around you and people think it s normal. It s not normal, it s just insane.
- both misery and joy happening from within you.
-your body is not taking instructions from you,
-your mind is not taking instructions from you,
-your emotions are not taking instructions from you,
nothing in this is taking instructions from you.
-as we look closer at life, its just exploding into wonder
-I am not really a person, that's my problem.
-I can in any given moment I will just make myself as it is necessary for that situation.
-your whole experience of life is limited to the physical form that you are.
-As a physical form what are you in this cosmos tell me.
-In your home you maybe something, on the street - not much, in the town - nothing.
In the cosmos you are not even a speck of dust;
-As a physical existence you are really nothing
-What's happening in your mind is your making.
- journey from being a piece of creation to being the creator.

    I’m American, 51 and have listened to many kinds of spiritual teachers throughout my life. I really have to say: Sadhguru is a breath of fresh air! I love how grounded he is and not selling himself as something “powerful” that you have to align yourself with. He’s merely interested in the nature of reality and how it relates to us. Nothing more, nothing less. I wish he could become our president 😔

    I agree on him being a breath of fresh air. Straight and to the point even with the sometimes ridiculous questions people ask. But I doubt he would ever want to become president. It would be nice to have a president who listened to him and his wisdom though :)

    Jean Scott I'm so grateful you found Sadhguru 🙏 And I'm American. (I'm not anything really but I have to speak a certain way for people to understand.) And I see the same thing going on in the USA.... It SUCKS. All we can do is NOT be part of it. And I'm going to give up my entire life to serve what this man is doing in the World. What Isha Foundation is doing in the world. Otherwise I would rather be dead. It's not my fault I was born in American but it is my fault if I do not do what I can do to make this 🌍🌎 better.

    A very wise and enlightened man trying to create a movement that would end poverty and towards better India. I have a gut feeling that he came from Sonatta background of the Shankara lineage. He has tackled the question on the existence of God very tactfully and not upsetting anybody or any belief. I respect his knowledge and mastery of the English language, a rare combination to make a successful evangelist internationally; Sadhu, sadhu, sadhu!

    he is involved in more than just India too. In one video he talked about how he used to go to many worldwide peace conferences to help bring Global Peace. But sadly after a while he found out they were not so much into creating peace as they were just interested in going to conferences to talk about peace! I have to say I do think he is very enlightened and hopefully his helping other to achieve higher awareness will help bring peace to the world.

    Occasionally, I get involved in philosophical discussions or debates with fellow KZread commenters. During my most recent, I found myself struggling to explain my beliefs. Then, I discovered this video, which clearly says it all in Sadhguru's typical non-offensive and humorous manner. So, now I only need to copy and paste this URL then say, "Here's what I believe. Enjoy." Thank you for sharing your joy and wisdom, Sadhguru. Namaste 🙏

    It is good to have an interviewer who is expressing arrogance or ignorance and thereby testing Sadhguru...in this way, we can truly appreciate the beauty and clarity of Sadhguru's answers...even the interviewer comes around to benefiting from Sadhguru's replies!! We are so blessed to have a teacher of love and truth, in this day and age, who is enlightening millions of human beings, who in turn, will spread the light to more and more people. Sadhguru has suggested that earth is in fact heaven, but we've been making a mess of it!! I am sensing hope & excitement building up for a wonderful transformation, where human beings of this world will realise their oneness, and advance to a state of existing in peace, love and joy. 😇🤗🥰❤️

    The problem with us folks who are asking these questions is that we are not listening to what he is saying, and not saying, the questions have already been answered in his delivery. So we come with a question and even though it has been answered we want to show how eloquent and learned we are. Some of our questions are essays, because we want to outsmart everything .

But whatever you don't know when you BS yourself, it's called "believe". Instead to simply admit "I just don't know, you prefer to believe something. Understand the immensity of "I don't know". 15:26 - 19:42 What an extraordinary conversation. I'm happy that Anupam rejects Sadhguru's explanation as an attempt to talk around the question because that then prombts Sadhguru to answer his question directly with no explanation, just stating the logical conclusion to his explanation. "I am not special, I have flowered." >bing!

  • @WormholeJim

    @WormholeJim

    4 жыл бұрын

    "I'm not really a person, that is my problem," the title says and that's the last literal mention of that for the remainder of an awsome flight through inner space following that trajectory. He's a super-duper asking-person, Anupam Kher. Completely fearless and undaunted in his insisting on not getting answers to his questions from Sadhguru, who then seems compelled to reduce and refine on the answers given until - we move on to something else by way of association. A whole catalogue of related revelations on parade! I better like the vid, for easy rewatching because I'm still stuck on the flowering-thing. Also, I'll have to anekdote - somewhere between Bangalore and Mysore the bus I was riding got stopped by a sit-down demonstration blocking the road in both directions. Hundreds of people sitting in groups and talking, all the cars in a jam with their drivers standing around and not knowing when this was going to be solved. It turned out to be an association of cow herders being unsatisfyed with the state government - on a variety of different issues that didn't seem to be focused on a common spokes person. Just all these cow herders having gathered in common protest in, I must assume, arranged way but without a common agenda of protesting. So, one guy I talked to explained the problems that was caused by the government neglecting to solve issues with free-floating plastic garbage because the cows would eat it and then die from twisted intestines, and nobody was there to compensate the cow herder for his loss. that hit me as a pretty profound chain of events. Three hours or so with this, then some agreement was reached upon by represetatives from the state authority and, I guess, that whole group of people, and the road was cleared for the bus to move on. I don't know what came of it - but it happening is the most grassroot democratic process I have ever witnessed in person. In the rigid, largely abstractizised deomcracies of the west, behaviour like this is unheard of. Profession-oriented strikes occur to lay political pressure on decision makers, yes. But always orchestrated by representatives and always behind closed doors.

    Sadhguru encourages people to be free to believe and think what they want. It’s beautiful. He’s a messenger. Everyone is responsible for how they take it in. The interviewer needs concrete / material explanations. He’s missing the whole point.

    People who think and believe in things that they do not know for sure if these things exist or do not exist is close minded. I for one have always believed that I will find that out when my day comes. I believe in the Holy Spirit and a peaceful existence. Its all energy...
