In my opinion the JNU session of Youth and Truth event was the best. Moderators as well as Audiences at JNU were graceful in asking questions and they really asked genuine questions ranging across diverse walks of life with a genuine intention of seeking truth rather than trying to corner Sadhguru.

I agree, I thought there were smart people in IIM. When you call some one like Sadguru try to take away some good from him rather put him on a spot with every question. I did not appreciate the line of questioning. It felt like JNU stuff

Just saw this video and I echo the sentiments of most of the people who have commented below. Coming from IIM Bangalore myself, I can tell you most of us students feel entitled with a halo status and at top of the world when we are in Campus. The realization that the world is far more wiser comes only once we step out of campus.

These IIM kids need to grow up. I live in Kolkata and have myself studied in IIT Kharagpur. Which is why I have had the opportunity to witness the horrific sights on the highway from Kharagpur to Kolkata how cows are packed in small trucks. They are "loaded" sideways and are placed one above the other in multiple layers. It is very similar to how LPG cylinders are packed in trucks for transportation. Even reporting the truck's license plates to the police would yield no result. All these cows are openly trafficked across the borders. And the time period I'm talking about is only 2015-2017. Cow smugglers are a part of our society. I did some research and found an even more shocking truth that the number of innocent people killed by cow smugglers is much higher than the number of cow smugglers lynched by a mob. But of course due to political reasons, journalists would not cover any story about the crimes committed by cow smugglers. A sad reality because nowadays certain Indians only believe in "pseudo-secularism".

These doubts arise when you start viewing things through a western prism or modern day individualism. You end up questioning everything and become a bundle of doubt with no room left for subtler , spiritual experiences. We are losing the very basis of our cultural ethos that guruji explained so wonderfully. Those of us who were lucky to hear these tales from our grandmothers grew up knowing of a value system that seems to be fast disappearing amidst all the surrounding noise. I was Simply blown away by the intelligence of my Sadhguru... 🙏❤️... Hitler was emphasised in a beautiful way... Hats off

Sadhguru has a soothing voice that, for me, always seems to get to the real nature of things. Maybe it is because he feels that those listening to him need extra work to make them understand but the only criticism I would humbly submit is that he waffles a bit making the same point over again in his journey to the point of the matter. When he gets there, he is mostly right!

When Sadhguru says "Let us understand this " it's game over for the haters

When Sadguru says "Over 4 years 42 lynchings and every year over 100 uniformed men including BSF are killed by the cattle smugglers"; the mod says , "that's totally a different issue, let's not get into that. One is religious, one is security". What a wonderful example of the intellect as a cutting tool! And these are the guys who began with 'why not throw out religion when there is the Constitution". Finest cutting tools used to be made at Sheffield Steel.

No, actually we are happy that we are not in these colleges. Their ignorance of culture and westernization can be seen. Happy that I took education in local schools and colleges ❤️

@Abin Abraham This is why we see such arrogance and narrow mindset in these IIM students. They study there so have a superiority complex over literally billion Indians that leaves them blind to other viewpoints. Jealous of that? Not really. Happy to still have an open mind!

@@vinjed sorry we respect YOUR hardwork towards YOUR education to get YOURSELF a better life but there's much more essence in life other than just gaining knowledge which is just enclosed in few thick books.

I am glad Sadhguru visiting these institutes to find so many youngsters who have so much confidence but with little or no clarity. Hope they make use of 'youth and truth' series to awaken their innermost core.

These three ... Definitely feel after getting wisdom in their life

His concern for the people of India was quite palpable and powerful, especially at the end there. If you do not see at first the picture this man Sadhguru is painting, be patient and listen through to the very end and you will see the level of understanding and direction that he is coming from. Props to him and his team for the amazing work they are doing for humanity!

Why do the manners matter they are asking questions they never were overtly rude. They simply asked questions. You are all too sensitive and fanatical. If it's so terrible why is every Indian and Asian parent trying to push their child to go their.

Just a scroll through the comments on this thread itself tells, how many of us are 'glad' that their kids are not studying there.... How many ex-IIM graduates feel disgusted with these 3 wise men sitting there... Is Dunning-Krueger effect in play here? A lot to learn from this panel...( even if it's...'How not be...attitude'.) And yes...even if the panel is representing the institute at this discussion, it may not be the true representation of the institute. And of course... we all are expected to appreciate that the panel was not 'overtly' rude...Surreptitiously (?) Is OK. 😉 Thank you...!

Actually I think this was necessary..... Because I learned alot from this video... How disrespect was thrown right at him and the way he gracefully handled it ... It was really informative to look and learn upon..... If everybody was asking the same questions and act in the same way it would be pretty boring.... So I suppose this IIM session was also very informative as it showed me how to handle this kind of situation with very much grace..

I too used to think like them when I was in college, now 7 years after graduating I have realized I am a student and will remain a student till the end.

Students are so proud of what they think is correct instead of seeking. This video shows how dangerous is half knowledge.

Didn't anyone noticed as Sadhguru shared his knowledge their sitting positions completely changed ? It looked like they didn't expect him to be so wise and were humbled by him.

What a thoroughly enjoyable video! Sadhguru is not to be outdone by relentless questioning 😁. It shows how poised he is within himself. And, yes, this country needs to regrow its roots!

I am very impressed by the temperament that Sadhguru kept in the whole session, knowledge comes with peace and calmness not ignorance. A lot to learn from this interview 💟.

This interview completely changed my respect to IIMs, such dumpsters? Shallow knowledge on spirituality, ego to the highest..!!

I loved these students asking Sadhguru such questions, because of their questions we got to experience some new lessons, and also an alert for not behaving like them when a Guru is in front of you.

What an amazing story of a bird thankyou, sadguru your wit in every aspect of life is very very cogent and pertinent.

This man is one of humble wisdom!

That guy claimed that sadhguru ji said *i couldn't image my house without my working mother* What a nice example of how these people will change words here and there to make someone's own statement look totally different! You sir should be in journalism! Sadhguru ji said something like "even when my mother didn't earn a penny in her own life.. i still can't imagine my house without her because she was handling so many responsibilities.."

I am doubting about the intelligence of the people who selected the panel.

Am rewatching this video becoz i just want to learn his technic for the patience that he had

IIM has a urgent need to provide common sense classes rather than management classes

These talks are very thought provocative.. the more I hear the more I get to think about the state of mind. As a 20 yr old self, I would run away from any of these talks.. and even if I did attend them, my expectations were to be entertaining. Now that Im in higher 30's, I see these talks are open minded discussions. These young kids have the right questions, but they are taking it literally and looking for logic in every answer. And there are other college kids who try to out smart a 70+ yr old guru. Its great that Sadhguru is educating the young minds of this generation, but I think spirituality can only be offered, but it is for the seeker to learn about it and himself when the time comes. These days little kids, all the way to 60's.. people are swifting lanes/channels/topics/screens/videos within mins and its hard to expect youngsters (hot bloods) to sit for an entire hr patiently to listen to philosophy. These are excellent sessions by Sadhguru, to educate and brighten the minds of our young Indians. We the country have utmost respect for Guru, and we are fortunate to have him come to us to enlighten us. Thank you !!!

A major change is required in our institutions. Looking upon the mindset of the students.
