Your transcription is the best I've seen and heard for this song, so I will purchase the transcription. Looking forward to playing it. Another great bassline. Many thanks. Little confused by the chord progression. Obviously the Dm is a D-Minor but what does the 'Dm (followed by a small triangle)' mean? Usually the triangle indicates a Major 7 chord - but the chord in this instance has already been labelled as a D-minor. Any help gratefully appreciated.

Hi Graham, thanks for your response! The triangle is common within jazz chords, it means a major 7th in the chord. In the Dm chord you also play a C sharp (or D flat). It’s an rather unusual chord, because the major 7th is usually played in a major chord. But Sade has chosen for a major 7th in a minor chord. You might also play a Dm chord with a D flat (or C sharp) in the bass. I’ve tried both chords, but the Dm with a major 7th seems the best way to play it. For us bassplayers it’s a D flat in the bass on a Dm chord, but for the guitar of keyboard the Dm with a major 7th sounds the best. Hope this is helpful and explains the chord progression.
