I’m 51 and was/am a Ssde fan. In short, Sade didn’t sell out to the Devil industry as the gatekeepers wanted her to, period. She did things in her successful career on her terms, and stayed true to herself in the end. Just like Anita Baker. Sade music is in a category all by itself, it’s timeless, and no one sounds like her.

@@All.Natural. Not quite! I'm not going to be bias just because it's Sade. I'm going to tell the truth. I was disappointed with her last album: Soldier of Love. The songs were extremely bland, lackadaisical and they all sounded the same. I hope upcoming release is much better.

As far as I’m concerned, there are no dark secrets about Sade. She’s human just like all the rest of us. I love her. I have always loved her. I named my firstborn daughter after her. She showed me how to be a lady. Sophisticated melodramatic, and sultry all at the same time. There is no one in the music industry like her. We have never seen her in compromising positions with her body outstretched for the whole world to see. She is an icon within herself and I adore her. Keep pushing forward, dear sister. She probably didn't want to compromise her music for the industry like Madonna did. After Madonna signed that new deal in 2009 with interscope she never sounded as good as she did in the past. She sounded like everyone else, she no longer had complete control over her albums and how they came out. Her album out put has been minimal since she left because I think she realize she was ruining her legacy. He newer material did not match her age when her older material did. People will make you disappear, Sade is one of the smartest artist out there enjoy the fruits of your labor. You can't go on forever anyway eventually people will stop listening or you will run out. She will never be forgotten she left on a high note and left us with some masterpieces.

She has always been in my top ten. I have always been proud to share the same zodiac sign with her. I know why she is the way she is. We don't really value the fame. I met her when I was 12 years old. She was on her way to Zomba recording studios in Willesden. She was in a car and I spotted her and she called me and my sister over. She told us to come down to the studio and hear her recording. My grandmother wouldn't let us go. Sade was lovely gorgeous looking so young then and gave me and my sister time and signed photos by the side of the road that day. This was 1982. I'll never forget that moment.

I just love Sade and her timeless sound. Her Lp goes to the top of the charts .

WOW! Sade’s, soulful, smooth, voice/music, just transported me to my youth . Coming home late at night with her music playing on a cassette tape in the car. I regret not taking the opportunity to see her in concert when she came to Sydney, all those years ago. My friend had gone and loved it. Seeing her in this video has renewed my enthusiasm to listen to her sultry music again. She certainly had a presence on stage and is a timeless talent.

I’m 56 and I love love love Sade. In 2020 the video Cherish The Day came across my KZread feed. And hearing that song and watching the live performance from 2011 really took me. I’ve never been captured by an artist or band to that capacity. It took me back to the 80’s when dreams were new and I had the whole world ahead of me. I immediately regretted not having the experience of seeing Sade in concert ever…. And so…I dove deep and have been obsessed with watching all the many years of live Sade concert performances ever since. Sade is timeless, unique and so beautiful. Watching her perform is one of my favorite passions in life. She seems know how to touch my inner soul like no other. Sade was a mistery to me because she used tradicional Spanish clothes, as elegant as her voice and talents. I'm from Spain and I heard she was with a Spanish guy who didn't treat her well...no surprise but at that time I wasn't a teeanger any longer and I was in survival mode.
