Can you believe this came out over 35yrs ago but transcends like it was released yesterday ...

Her voice is so therapeutic, and so is her band.....she's my favorite female artist of all time. She may not have the strong voice of someone like Aretha, Patti, or Whitney but that's ok. The message is still sent to your soul and for me, that's all that matters.

I had this playing for my physical therapy when I was in a nursing facility every day. At first I had brain cancer and couldn't walk very well. But as time went on, the cancer went down to 6%. God is good!

It seems incredible that the James Bond franchise never enlisted Sade to do a theme song to one of their films. Her voice and musical arrangements would have been perfect to set the mis-en-scene for any of their cosmopolitan story lines. This song alone would have complemented Daniel Kleinman's imagery of the Casino Royal animated opening beautifully.

Played in 16/16ths - that´s the logic, the drive, flow of it.. follow the percussions. My favorite Sade track 🥰

The jazzmasters album has similar sounding songs as well. Sade herself however is in her own, category, just like Seal. Sade > Seal though of course lol.

The first time I heard this amazing soul I was a child and her music came over a loud speaker outside of a store! I have been hooked forever!!!! I am 46 now!
