@@lilyaddams1998 lol I'm not surprised, from the one book I've read from murarkami his messages touched but his shallow portrayal of women was quite annoying IMO. So will def check out bread&eggs

Haa.. I was just binge watching your previous videos this afternoon, and you uploaded again!! Gonna get comfy and enjoy this as a treat to end my day. I read "Breast and Eggs" back in March, but I definitely feel it's a summer read the whole book has that vibe , I absolutely loved this book it was my first read of Mieko's work as well and I loved and really resonated with the conversations among the characters. I hope it's a good read for you as well !

I've read "Norwegian wood " last summer, and I also went in a session with other readers to talk about it. Withhaving all the female issues, as we all were females, we enjoyed the experience of reading it. Don't be scared of his writing and you'll be feelings deep emotions:)) I've also read "First person singular" and it was fun as well.

Couldn't agree more! Norwegian Wood is definitely a favorite book of mine. Murakami's exploration of uncomfortable topics makes his writing refreshingly unique.

Bonjour 👋 ça va mieux ? So nice seeing you again ! And I love books and reading and it’s hard to explain why we love reading. I was at the doctor’s office today ( just to get allergies meds) and I read an entire book while waiting. So time flew by. I have read Heaven and loved it. My friends read Breast and Milk and had different opinions. One read the English version where publishers actually mixed the original novella with two short stories while the French version has only the novella so it’s quite short. I own the English version so I’m curious about your opinion on this book. I have a few books on my reading lists by Korean authors: 8 lives of a century-old trickster by Lee Mirinae , and translated in French two books : Perfect happiness and The Good Son by Jeong You-jeong which I’m looking forward to reading. Hope we won’t have a hot Summer as two years ago when the temp hit over 40 degrees. I felt as if I was dying. A bientôt 😊

I am myself Korean and not perfect bilingual, but Iove reading Murakami Haruki in english. I've read almost all of his books including wild sheep chase in english. I really recommend Haruki to anyone who want to try books in english. Those are real page turners.
