Ever since it appeared nearly 80 million years ago, the bee has occupied a special place in evolution. Untiring worker, essential to the development of vegetables, it is one of the foremost species maintaining our equilibrium on Earth. Mankind is fascinated by its perfect organization and its incredible reproduction process. And the relationship between people and bees throughout the world is equally plural. In a world where the climate is changing and biodiversity is gradually disappearing under the effects of “human activity”, the bee is in danger and so is our relationship with it.
This series is equal to this exceptional story and to the last men who are still sharing a close life with the bees for their mutual survival.

It's a beautiful story of faith and beliefs. God bless them.
I love the shot of the immense Sycamore Tree where Abby waited for the bus towards Laliba. Of course I truly enjoyed the amazing BEES ---- little "angels" ---- provided to us from Nature! I admire the rural Ethiopians pf their Faith and good Ethics!!! VIEWING from California. 🎉🎉🎉
Keep the bees documentaries coming, loving it
Thank you for sharing this short beautiful video. It encompassed so much detail not one short film. I was deeply moved as a beekeeper to see these small moments into others lives around the world. Those sacred churches with the bees in them was enough to renew one’s faith. Truly reverential and holy. It is true that it would seem they live with little in the way of money, but they are wealthy in culture and beauty.
More video about this Orthodox comunity! 🙏

yikes, 50 birr per kilo? That's only 80 euroCENTS per kilo!! He sold 6kg of honey, so he earned less than 5 euros for all of it, minus bus expenses and days of walking. He is lives a grateful, but tough life.

I would pay at least 25$ per liter. Only if there were a way for me to get it delivered economically.
