Trey Lyles is a fighter at heart, he just had recurring injuries this season that sidelined him

Post asb the Kings played excellent defense, they really figured things out. A lot of this had to do with Keon Ellis breaking out, hoping that defense. Good content!

What the kings need is a player like Aron Gordon of the nuggets.. so hope they can find a player like this in the draft and not have to trade half the talent they have to find a wore out veteran..

I think Kyle Filipowski could be a big upside swing for Kings.. doesn’t do much as far as interior defense(still only 20yo) but is a respectable perimeter defender, and with offensive development under Luke Loucks I believe could help his shooting which would help the team with size and versatility. I think Kings may have peaked last year if they are unable to add more length/defense.

Yeah no. We don't have time to develop some 20 year old. Fox and Sabonis are in their primes right now and need to put pieces around them that compliments our playstyle.

I honestly believe the Kings are no longer interested in Kuzma. Not because he wouldn’t be a good addition stat wise, but chemistry wise does he fit? That’s why the Kings are holding on to Barnes. He is a leader in the locker room and outside it.

⁠ Wizards can trade him but he has 3 more years left on a $90 million contract which leaves it a $66.5 contract for a questionable fit, self-absorbed guy who’s play hasn’t translated into winning.

Big no on Jonathon Issac. We need players who can stay healthy - that's been one of the team's strengths over the last two years.

Also no on Klay Thompson. He's not the player he used to be, and might have trouble fitting into the reduced role the team would need him to play.

Do you think Daron Holmes II is a fit at the 4 next to Sabonis? Along the lines of your thoughts of the Jonathan Isaac type player that sacramento needs. More of a Jalen smith type of player but may be more of a reach in the lottery, but I think he could serve as that athletic backup center at the minimum and potentially be in closing lineups with sabonis

How about Harrison Barnes to the Hornets for Vasa and Nick Richards?

Jared McCain is from Sacramento and would be a good replacement if Monk doesn't come back.

Since the Kings and the Pelicans have a good relationship, i think it's time they do business together and trade Trey Murphy, Naiji Marshall for Harrison Barnes, Davion Mitchell and a 2nd round pick.. the Kings need a solid 4 and to switch Keegan to the 3, plus you give New Orleans a solid point guard in Mitchell and a back up scoring wing in Barnes.

i don’t think the pels would do this. nola already has young defensive minded guards in daniels and alvarado. plus giving up a young trey murphy who’s already an amazing shooter for an aging harrison barnes would be a downgrade

if Monk leaves replace him with Bones. Jonathon Isaac or Vanderbilt would be perfect fits. Kuzma and Trent jr would also be good fits.
