India played so wel in the tournament but unfortunately lost in the finals that hurt us

The 2001 ODI triangular series held on African soil featuring home team Zimbabwe and the touring teams India and West Indies was the 1st tournament played in absence of many legends like the Windies pacers duo of Courtney Walsh and Curtly Ambrose,Zimbabwean all rounder Neil Johnson and Indian all rounder Robin Singh senior.

If They Reached Finals in Almost All Tournaments , That Means They Were Pretty Consistent..& That Includes Reaching 2003 WC Final.... & That's a Very Good Performance...That Times , Aus, SA , Pak , SL , WI Were Much Stronger .... Being Consistent against Them is. definitely a Great Job.. Btw As Long as I know, They Lost 9 Finals Won 2 Trophies...( NatWest+ 2002 Champs Trophy) Closest & Biggest Regret is 2003 Wc Final & Definitely 2000-01 Champions Trophy Final.... Where They Beat Mighty Aus & SA to lose to NZ in the Final in d Last Over..the Final loding jinx started from There... That's a Big regret Despite They Delivered Consistently Well.. Remember That Time BCCI was not that much Icc Blessed To get Homely Playing Conditions While Playing Overseas
