Just been having a little more time than usual this past month. hopefully I can get back up there a couple more times this year. Kristine hasn't been able to get any time off either. I hope she can get up there at least once this year.

@@ExploreNaturesCatch Fishing is great for me, I live in Washington state, but originally from NY. I love trout fishing, actually your channel and a couple others inspired me to change one of my channels into a trout channel as well, but not trying to do what you are doing. Me I'm just recording my day fishing and sharing it with others. I just added a couple test videos to it "PNW Trout Slayer". My main channel which is the one I use mostly is all my youth teams I coach. All our games and season Highlights. My fishing one is for my friends and any one interested in watching, plus I fish and coach to handle my PTSD. Keep it up and I will be watching!!!! You're helping a disabled vet and didn't even know it!!!!

Yeah, it was looking even lower than this on our last trip out there. I hope it will recover soon! I did see that they did receive a fish stocking though!

I used to work up there (at south Lake, owners were friends with the Sabrina owners) Always have had good luck at Sabrina but its been years since I last went.

It’s been pretty good out in the sierras so far. I landed a few big fish 7, 8, and 9 pounds. Working on those videos today. Must have been nice working out there. No plans in the near future to head back out there? 🎣

Wait till you see the 2 huge beast I just caught in mammoth. Working on that video right now. They just stocked huge fish at twin lakes Bridgeport and convict lake today. Haven’t really seen anything big come out of Sabrina lately but I’m sure there’s some lurking in there.

To be honest Ive never camped at any of the sites there before. Most of the time we just use Airbnb for all our stays. There's a link in the description to get a discount if you've never used airbnb before. One of these days we do plan to do some tent camping. Sounds like a lot of fun.

Where is a good place to stay in bishop? And is August a good time to be up there? Never been there.

Parchers resort is a great place to stay if you want a cabin. Or if you are looking to rent camp and if the campsites will work just fine

MrRayder45 The only place I’ve stayed in bishop was creekside inn. We mostly stay in mammoth and use Airbnb. Creekside in has Comfortable beds and free breakfast. I’ve been up there in August and did great but really depends how the stocking is at that time. We might head out there around that time also or October. Good luck out there. 🎣

Do you know if Sabrina has opened his year? Heading up tomorrow!

Nice! I read they opened on 6/1. There were post of people fishing it but said very limited space to fish. Fishing was great though. Good luck out there!

Most likely stocked. They did have some nice pink/orange flesh though.

I wonder if the lake is much fuller now in 2024?

From pictures I have seen. There’s still ice on the lake and a little more water than in the video but I saw a comment from the lake people that said Edison draws the lake down to catch the runoff this time of year.

The one I have the best luck with is the rainbow trout pattern. Usually my go to color for most lures. 🎣

@@jesusbaron9006 Can’t go wrong with kastmasters. Also look up mini jigs similar to what I have linked in the description below the video. I always use mini jigs.
