My girl is about to turn 1. Her mom was a Sable, and her dad was a Black and Tan. Lol she literally has the markings of both so not sure what you’d call her, but she’s the best!

Look back to when the pup is 13-15 weeks and the (dark) colour band on the middle of the tail will tell you what colour the pup will turn into.

that's just the violets gland

@@disappotato regardless of name, it will indicate the colour your pup will change to. Follow a few pups and see.

@@LAStars-sratS ..no it's just a gland, my aunts shepherd is a light sable and her tail has a dark mark only on the gland. It's mostly vestigial in dogs, huskies also often have it

Oh yes, she looks weak, pitifully weak, so weak we are always surprised she can walk. In this video she can barely move kzread.info/dash/bejne/fJamrKuTXbrclJs.html . Don`t forget, GSD`s come in all sizes and body shapes.
