She’s my favorite soprano EVER!

What makes her so special is her voice at the very top of the register; it sounds delicate, weightless, and utterly effortless (although clearly the result of years of discipline and patience).

Her whole register not only the top is great. For the haendl her voice is so sothing and relaxing I love how she sings. I heard her in Lakme she was amazing to. This combination of her voice and haendl is like magic

My goodness, I cannot stop crying. When such skilled musicians play music for the music and not for themselves, it is magical. This is not to detract from the pure brilliance and excellence of the playing. Not one player said "look at me" or "look at us" but played for us to enjoy. The slight rubato in the leader at 6:56 was just so musical

Why are you so heavenly beautiful musician? I think God sends such musicians so that to soften hearts and souls of people ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

You feel, as I do, the glow of her voice, the beauty of what Handel wrote when he crafted this piece and it's habitual to listen and never become tired of this gorgeous piece.

Music and voice from heaven....... very emotional.

Every time I see Sabine's video's I find myself repeating myself - I mean , how many different ways can I say that she is JUST SUPERB in anything she performs!

The most beautiful gift I will get this Christmas. Just perfect, a tempo slowed to make you listen and realise how good it all is. Sabine's entry at 5.25, then the swelling note in a wonderfully spacious acoustic - exquisite. Profound thanks to all.

The way the solo violin and solo soprano voice play off each other with repeated tension and release in this piece is one of Handel's most beautiful "tricks" he has in his book and it's done beautifully here and moves me to tears.

The way I teared up and had to restart sections over just to hear the mastery and artistry again MY GOD!!

This is beauteous perfection.

I don't know anything about this kind of music. I don't know what the words mean. I stumbled onto this and it completely takes me over. Tears fill my eyes, I forget what I am doing, and just get completely drawn into this and filled with emotion. Now, I am looking for more from this singer. This piece especially just fills me up with how beautiful her voice is and the slow tempo of the music. I love it so much!

Thanks Warner Classics! What a beautiful voice that matches the music so perfectly! Several years ago I discovered Sabine and ever since have been listening every piece by her that i could find. Can't get enough of her voice.

Absolutely stunning… what a voice control, subtle vibrato, perfect placement of the notes, crescendos and decrescendos … And also hats off to the violinist, who accompanied the voice beautifully with the same level of control … Brava!!

Sabine's voice, to me, is the benchmark by which all other sopranos are measured and aspire to be. Such beauty goes hand in hand with Handel's music. Divine inspiration if ever there was.

Pure, True, no warbling on notes and over use of vibrato to hide imperfections in a singers voice as so many sopranos try to cover their weak range. Not here. This is perfection in it's finest form. The voice of an angel.

So he is (I have just followed the link and bought the CD, she is saying things about how personal the collection is, and the aims for it she and her husband shared). More trivially, I was wondering at first viewing how it was that he was conducting with a blue pen (or something like it), when you can see Sabine D very nearly conducting herself with just such an impromptu baton in at least one recording video - she likes to have a pen in her hand. How self-exacting being this good is. The very sympathetic videographer and editor give a lot of time to hands.

@@roybooth7904 Спасибо Вам! Для меня оставалось вопросом КТО или ЧТО для Сабины явилось лифтом и скачком её сегодняшнего Уровня. То, что Сабина Талант и Искра Дара Божьего было ясно сразу. Я переслушал её всю, но 6, или 4 года записи тому назад , не раскрывали весь её внутренний потенциал. Теперь, после Вашего коммента всё ясно .Талант, и совместная постоянная огромная работа, ..недаром неоднократно в комментариях пишут "поёт ангел", с чем полностью согласен...

@@roybooth7904 a pencil is often necessary to write indications on the score: the place where we breathe, silences, recommendations of the conductor, etc... and have you noticed that Raphaël is left-handed ? In his youth, he was told he could never be "chef d'orchestre" or "chef de choeur" because he was left-handed :-)

Her ease of using her whole registry is outstanding. The enormous clarity on high notes are remarkable. Sabine and Lea Desandre are the two stars on todays stage. Im in love.... 🥰
