This man is one of Africa's modest influential & controversial man, couldn't SABC find a better journalist with better articulation and someone who actually knows how to ask relevant and necessary follow up questions. This was a very important conversation/interview, what a missed opportunity.

Sometimes we need to be very sober when we listen to the Western media about our leaders. The genocide did take place in Rwanda that is the fact. It is well known that the United Nations did nothing to stop. And we must understand that the commitment that was taken by the Western powers when they signed the Genocide Act. For that fact the Western powers will not accept genocide easily. That is why it took years for Germany to admit what they did in Namibia and for Benjamin Netanyahu and America including all the Global South to admit that Israel is doing in Palestine and the Palestinian. It was Bill Clinton administration that let the Genocide took place in Rwanda including the United Nations. For us to Judge Paul as a Dictator it is to soon when the whole world that could have helped stood by. That threath of Hutus to attack Rwanda is still there. The pepatrators of genocide are still there and the most of them are in the eastern DRC. If we talk opposition in Rwanda what opposition ethnic opposition or political opposition. We should accept that reconciliation does take time the wounds are still very fresh. For white South African it is easy forgetting that they are enjoying the right s they never gave us. It is easy for them to critisize.

SA did an investigation around Karegeya's strange death. And the initial lead pointed to Kigali, Rwanda. SA even had suspects and asked Rwanda to bring them to SA to be trialed. They refused. That is where it became kind of clear that the government could have been involved, especially taking into consideration the history. And the pattern of Rwandans dying under strange circumstances in other countries. I remember seeing an interview of another Rwandan who was highly positioned in government having bodyguards allocated to him by the Belgian government in Belgium because he was deemed to be in danger.

Today marks 30 years of lies about the Rwandan genocide, no black person should ever talk about the issue between Hutu and Tutsis, between Rwanda and Congo and between so called African conflicts without reading the books below, if all you know about the the Rwandan genocide is based on the Hollywood movie “Hotel Rwanda” you’ve been programmed to hate the victims and love the perpetrators as Malcolm X once said, those who orchestrated the genocide in Rwanda are still in power to this day and continue the genocide in plain daylight with support from blind africans, while the Hutus make up 85% of the Rwandan population, they continue to be lynched and oppressed by the 14% of Tutsi supremacists supported by the United Nations, the United States and EU (America gift Rwanda 1 billion dollars each year to fuel the conflicts in the region), you don’t believe me google it. If you were against apartheid in South Africa you should be concerned about the Rwandan Tutsi regime, if you were against segregation in the United States you should be against the Kagame blood regime in Kigali. In 1997 America recruited Rwanda and Uganda to invade Congo in order to control the world’s largest mineral rich region in the world, this can be googled too, there’s currently a genocide going on in Eastern Congo that has cost the lives of over 10 million Congolese people, 500 thousand raped women and more than 6.2 million Congolese men women and children displaced, no pan African has dared to call out the real perpetrators, instead they continue to praise them in the name of pan Africanism, you can choose to turn a blind eye too and be complicit or you can read one or all these books and learn the actual truth before spreading propaganda, if you use a smart phone you awe it to victims in Congo, Rwanda and Uganda to share this knowledge with other, here are the books: -Enduring Lies: The Rwandan Genocide in the Propaganda System, 20 Years Later -America’s Wars on Democracy in Rwanda and the DR Congo -The Great Lakes Holocaust -Holocauste au Congo: L’Omerta de la communauté internationale -Rwanda, la vérité sur l’opération Turquoise : Quand les archi -Ces tueurs tutsi - au coeur de la tragédie congolaise -Enquêtes sur un attentat - Rwanda 6 avril 1994 -Les secrets du genocide rwandais

Today we talk about Rwanda fondly because of this man. His leadership has transformed Rwanda into a country that is world standard. However, the western media reports prefers to run propaganda about him. The Africans, unable to protect Sankara, Lumumba, Ghadaffi, etc will be on his case and regret when he is no more. Africans learn politics too late. At the moment we are fed all nonsense about him to tarnish his reputation. Libya learned too late that they shouldn’t have listened to western media. Now oil is channelled to USA and Libya is wrecked. Let Kagame and Rwanda be… get your leaders to care about their countries and its citizens.

Truth is, Africa needs leaders who upgrade the lives of the people and Kagame’s Rwandan is today talked as one of the best countries…removing Kagame will bring us Libya. I'm a South African and have had the privilege of visiting Rwanda before. It's a beautiful nation that has made significant progress. I enjoyed the hospitality, culture, food, and the warmth of its people. However, I find it deeply troubling how nonchalant the President is when confronted with these serious accusations. "When were they killed?" Is that the stance he wishes to adopt while suspicions linger that his government may have orchestrated the killings of those who opposed him and his party in South Africa and other parts of the world? He is undoubtedly aware of these accusations. How can trust be cultivated with a foreign government, especially one perceived by many around the world as disregarding the sovereignty, rule of law, diplomacy, international law, and human rights of both other countries and its own citizens Rwanda has made significant progress, yet there remains a considerable distance to travel in achieving full realisation of human rights for its citizens.

Lol, a joint investigation? That was insulting from the outset. We have a police service equipped to investigate such crimes within our jurisdiction, and a prosecuting authority capable of presenting evidence in a South African court against accused persons. I suggest that you, along with Kagame, cease gaslighting us. If that's the norm in Rwanda, it doesn't justify such behavior elsewhere. Understand the importance of being held accountable for your actions and respect human rights, sovereignty, and the rule of law in other nations. Until then, relations between us will remain strained, as South African citizens we refuse to endorse our government cozying up to a regime facing such serious accusations, especially when Rwanda appears so nonchalant about them.

@Rwabugili either you are being disingenuous or ignorant of facts when you asked why the SA gvt refused joint investigation? Firstly, that was never proposed until this guy made a false claim on such until now. Secondly, the case in 2010 saw Rwandan charged in South Africa of the murder of Nymwasa. And I believe the evidence that was advanced then fingered the Rwandan gvt. In short, your president knows why South Africa - Rwandan relationship collapsed at that time. He needs to come clean.

When Tutsis children were chased in schol in 1973 was it because of the plane? when their education right was being denied was it because of the plane. was then when the leader of RPF was killed at the battle field in 1990 , all Tutsis did not take machetes to Kill Hutus, if in your understanding whetever a president is Killed, a baby not sharing the same ethnic group must be killed. Here is a short summary of the issue with the M23. The M23 is a rebel military group that is for the most part formed of ethnic Tutsi. This rebel group is mainly based on the eastern part of the DRC. According to a United Nations report, it was found that Rwanda created and commanded the M23 rebel group. Your question will be "How did Rwanda create this group?" When the Congolese rebel called "Laurent Desire Kabila" wanted to overthrow president "Mobutu", he benefited from the support of the USA and Rwanda. But Laurent Desire Kabila did not have a proper army to overthrow Mobutu, reason why his rebellion was a mixture of Rwandan soldiers and some Congolese. When he took power from Mobutu, he realized that he made a mistake by inviting the Rwandan army who was mainly made up of Tutsis to Congo. Because Laurent Desire Kabila did not have the time to rebuild the Congolese army after defeating Mobutu, the Rwandan army found itself controlling most the Congolese army. This did not please Kabila Laurent because he realized that the Rwandans he brought to assist him were now wanting to control the whole country and he requested them to go back to Rwanda after paying them the money due to them. But Kagame was not happy with this decision and used the same Rwandan soldiers to start trouble again in the eastern part of the DRC. Why was Kagame not happy? He realized that Congo was a land reach in minerals and he could not afford to loose control of the mining areas. If you notice, the M23 is mainly made-up of Tutsis. Rwanda is made up of two tribes, the Tutsis and the Hutus. The Hutus are a majority in Rwanda, but Kagame has not allowed them to be part of his government nor his army. He hates them with passion. Tutsis do not originate from Congo but came to the Congo as refugees or workers. Most of them were given Congolese citizenship and are living in peace in Congo. Some are big businessmen and others have been part of the government. But when Kagame noticed that he was going to loose the control of the minerals in the eastern part of the Congo, he created the M23 using Tutsis from Rwanda and some Tutsis from Congo with the support of Europeans and Americans. The M23 sole objective is to control the rich mineral areas of the DRC on the east. Reason why you will notice that the war is mainly centered around where the minerals are. Kagame is just a thief used by the west to destroy the DRC. But he will not live for long. His time to go has come and he will leave Rwanda a country not united. He did not unite the Tutsis and the Hutus in his own country and took that same hatred to the DRC.

They are not just using Rwanda as transit, they are using Rwandan military reinforcements. They are allies. Rwandan military is there for FDLR, which is embedded with Congolese army, which makes them one. And Kagame is not denying supporting M23. He diverts from the question every time, to ask what about FDLR, what about Congolese army targeting a specific community... he said in another interview, 'if Rwandan forces are in DRC, why would they want to be there in the first place?'
