I watched a try not to laugh video, they were playing Primo Victoria in the try not to laugh, I watch a KZreadr to the same vid and heard the name "Sabaton". So I went looking for it and found their song the lost battalion, and instantly fell in love

Two of my all time favorite power metal bands, each for their own reason. I love Sabaton's dedication to teach the history of wars, armies, and heroes through music, and they teach you so much when all you think you're doing is headbanging lol. Powerwolf, the catholic werewolves, I LOVE the gothic feel they mix into the power metal with their organs and religious lyrics. They match so well with the hard hitting guitars and drums to make such delicious music to my ears. In the end, we all know who the true winner is: the fans!

comparing to other metal band no sabaton is not underated. Its just that metal is generally underrated comparing to other genre, i couldnt called it underrated tho because there are metal bands that could attract audience from other genre. Its just that metal is not popular genre for now.

@@elliotbashforth9897 I should've clarified that that aren't really that popular in America. Most Americans don't really like Power Metal that much I feel like. I only know a handful of people that actually know Sabaton. I feel like most people that I know are Slipknot or System of a Down fans.

I have never heard of either band but I now love them both!

Uncle Miguel Next Heavy Metal vs Power Metal Uncle Miguel

I've never heard a Sabaton song I didn't like. Sure some of the moments in history are "grander" but those songs can be a single event, single person, group, or event. LIFETIME OF WAR is equally grand in both versions. English version is BIG PICTURE while native language is singular but very much an equal. Powerwolf is great though some are better than others.

Sabaton has very riffs/song openings without guitar surprisingly. Final Solution is their most powerfull song for me and it has barely any guitar. But White Death, Fields of Verdun and Seven Pillars of Wisdom slap
