Of the over 500 soldiers who entered the Argonne Forest, only 194 walked out unscathed. The rest were killed, missing, captured, or wounded.

I watched a video lecture about this battle and it’s about as graphic as one might think when it comes to description of the battlefield

I was close to a few of them back in the day , Machine gun company c , Putnam , told me his whole experience said he personally Killed a entire German Brigade during that week got two purple hearts . one for gas and the other for getting his elbow shot off while playing dead in his hole < bullet hit his rifle butt . good to hear from you my friend , few if any decedents left .. they did not have a moto .. endtransmission

May he be honour for his deeds he’s done to face the Germans. He deserves respect for his deeds in 1918

Sabaton's songs are just masterpieces that are still there. The story is told
I had the great pleasure of seeing the movie "The Lost Battalion" and it was a good one. Great song too apparently.

just watched The The Lost Battalion (2001) the other day and it's shockingly good for a made for TV movie
Went to verdun and meuse du argonne back one month ago its a beautiful place still bearing the scars from the battles and now that im looking at it the filming here in this video is pretty accurate to the meuse du argonne
