American Bradley Driver: "Well, if you had studied his work like we did you wouldn't be sitting here captured in the back of this Bradley right now." xD I'm paraphrasing but this was apparently an actual interaction between soldiers during the Gulf War, 1991 I can just imagine a faint "Ghost Division!" whispered across the desert when he clapped back like that.

Yes he did. Rommel was the best. His book about his tactics was required reading when my husband was in military school in the US. I still have it.
Sun Tzu is one of my two favorite philosophers in history.

War never changes. Even Sun Tzu thought that it was better to make what you have better, than going to war. But all the foolish power hungry leaders thinks it is a great idea so you should prepare for it. Psychopaths and narciscists wants to control people. Unfortunately when you are ruled by psychos and sociopathic narcisists they won't rule you well. More like getting disappeared and tortured to death and shit like that.

@@TheProphetMonk Aristotle was Alexander the Great’s tutor. If it weren’t for his teachings, among other things, I don’t think Alexander would’ve been the man he was.

The real reason sun tzu was so powerful is because he had over 80 million power in rise of kingdoms

In war the best question to ask your enemy is why are we enemies? How else would you avoid a total war? Unfortunately in these days such questions are not raised. Just throw more guns on the fire. A bit concerning though that I don't live in Russia and that Russia seems to know the art of war. Well at least they seem to follow the geneva convention. Unlke the Ukrainians. The clearest example is the Buscha massacre. Somehow the Ukrainians wants us to believe the Russians killed a bunch of people 3 days after they left that area. The Ukrainian officials that talked about sending in the sturmboat boyz to exterminate the collaberators realy did not help.

Sun Tzu is one of my favorite authors. I have read the book at least three times and have multiple different versions of it.

and in real life, strength isn't the only factor there is corruption, loyalty to the leader and faith, knowledge of the land you are fighting in, and most importantly in battle supplies.
