Regardless of whether it’s a Manowar cover or how the song has been used… this is an epic version of “Kingdom Come”. Sabaton makes you feel like you are a living and breathing part of it. So many of their own songs have that power as well. (Bismarck, Ghost Division, and Last Stand for example) They brought the power with this one. Great cover! And great reaction… totally agree that it is amazing. 👍🏻

It sounds very Sabaton but when you can compare it with Manowar, it's a good #2

The heart of a song is not the words, not the vocals, not even the music - it's the emotions it invokes in the listener.

The song is written by Joey DeMaio. Bassist and co-founder of MANOWAR. A band that Sabaton pays tribute to in a song called Man of War. The lyrics in that song is only MANOWAR song titles.

No worries Harry it is a pleasure when the music hits you right. The two of you are some of the most enjoyable reactors going, this is why.

This Manowar song.. i love it. Manowar's songs are usually great anthems. This LP (Kings of metal, 1988) its one of my all time favourites. But the great hymn of that LP, for me, is "the Crown and the Ring".. And one of their best song you can react (if not know it) is "Carry On" (1987)

Manowar version is much better and manowars voice is 1000% better to.

Very different sound for them. Strangely it sort sounds like a more agressive Volbeat. But I really really like it. Great reaction guys!

Sabaton took a 1988 released song from Manowar, brought it into 2021 and added a video mix of Game of Thrones and the Kingdome Come Deliverance game... Great Version from Sabaton! But I love the Manowar version of it a little bit more... Maybe it's because I am a bit older and grown up with their music. ;) But I will listen the Sabaton version of it a few times this evening :)

You should give Machinae Supremacy a shot! Not only very chill regarding copyright (they once released their line DVD on pirate bay themselves), but incredible music with Commodore 64 synths incorporated!

The guitars and some of the harmonies remind me a little of Volbeat. Another band you should have a listen to. Maybe "Cape of our fathers", "Die to live" or "Still counting" with the best intro lyrics of all time. 😁

This song has been moving me for moste of my life, and this version is good, but like some say the gitartone is perfect is where I find this version lacking. This could be more explosive like the original. And the original has tons of songs like this equally as great or even better.

Sabaton deserve respect because they have the sense to pay tribute to the kings of metal MANOWAR. Jocke also have enough wisdom not to try to end the song as Eric Adams do. He just dont have the range.

The only version I heard this song was done by Manowar. Both versions are great I just feel Manowars is better. Might just be biased but I was a Manowar fan since they first came out. Check out Manowars version and decide yourselves.

We actually didn't know that it was a Manowar song until after the reaction. We actually did listen to it and for us Sabaton's cover is still beter. That's what makes music awesome, everyone will have a different opinion of what they like and that is totally fine 😊🤘🏻

One was obviously because of Floor (Sancta Terra is not even in their top 15), so basically just one song :) You really enjoyed "Consign to Oblivion", their growliest song. So what happened? Other songs have more Simone's vocals in them and less growls. I guarantee you EPICA is mindblowing and definitely in the top 5 in the whole symphonic metal sub-genre, maybe even top 3. Manowar did this and that's should be the only group!!! Cover songs from other bands make it bad and this is another example of bad cover group gone bad 👎

It occurs to me if the song should only be performed by the original group, then one day when all the members are gone, isn't that song sort of dead? I agree that covers have to be approached very carefully, so you don't just rip off the original, or change it so much it's distorted. But I think most artists are flattered when a good cover is made, it speaks to what they created
