Carolus Rex is a beast of a song. The official live of this song is in Swedish with Eng subtitles, but there's also Woodstock version posted by a fan. Uprising from the same concert is also one heck of a badass performance.

Carolus Rex is their best song hands down and thats hard to say since they have so many good ones.

this festival - started 1995 - used to be called Woodstock as a tribute to 60's Woodstock. nowdays PolandRock is a free admission event that lasts 3-4 days and is visited by c.0.5m people from all around the world every year. There are well known bands there as well as many promising ones. Sabaton were invited in 2012 and performed on the main stage. They had no idea what was ahead of them.

And I can proudly say I was there :) amazing show

Powerful is right! There's a Polish TV broadcast of the full show that shows the festival organizer leading the crowd in the Polish anthem immediately after this song, along with clips from the people managing the flag (kids from a nearby town). It's amazing.

Have seen it, it was great. It didn't sound like the crowds at football matches with everyone singing at their own pace making it a mish-mash and you can't hear the words. This crowd sung it with ONE voice! Cheers / B.

Sabaton have so many great songs that tell great stories. Before listening to them I had no idea about how fierce the Polish resistance was, nor knew anything about the 30 years war, or the raid on the Vermok heavy water plant. Good stuff, check it out.

Absolutely you have to listen THE RED BARON ( the most "BOMBASTIC" song they have made for the album Great War) and Seven Pillars of Wisdom from the same album ! Actually a lot of sabaton song are so powerful bit those two are the most recent! Greetings from Naples !

Uprising from the same show has polish words in lyrics, you should check it!

You have to react to Uprising Live in Woodstock it will give you chills

People tend to be more impressed by this song because of the giant Polish flag! However , "Uprising" and "Ghost Division" from the very same concert are both better (according to me) . And gives a better view of the crowd as well as kneebanging (on Ghost Division) is guaranteed ;-) Looking forward to see those 2 reactions! $0:1 is kinda hard to sing to. Uprising is way easier. Thats why i think crowd is more epic there.
