No. Every year 400-500 thousand rock fans appear at the 'Przystanek Woodstock' festival in Poland!

It is a regular 3 day rock party.

The Polish Woodstock is a charity event for Red Nose Day (There was 650 000 people). Entry is free (although donations are welcome) and they have a bunch of bands playing over a weekend. Sabaton was the headline act. They raised something like 4 million euros for charity in 2012. This whole show is awesome, I have the Blu-Ray of the concert and watch it at least once a month... Great reaction man.

The term "Ghost Division" was coined by the Germans themselves. The 7th Panzer Division led by Erwin Rommel, took part in "Case Yellow" which was the invasion of France and the Low Countries (Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg) in the Spring of 1940. The 7th Panzer Division penetrated into France so fast, that the tanks lost communications with the rest of the invading forces and hence the nickname was born.

Wrong dude. The nickname was given the 7th Tank Division by the Frenchs. They called them as "La Division Fantome" (what you can translate into English as Ghost Division) because they apeared always on places where the Frenchs didnt expected and this also faster then they expected... later then the Germans took over this nickname for the 7th Tank Division

Btw, it is all but certain he did it on purpose, so the headquarters couldn't stop him. Guderian told his officers to go ahead because he only could hold off the brass for a day or so. They weren't playing by the rules.

If you want more live stuff, I suggest "The Red Baron" from their European tour, (The Great Tour, 2019/2020). If you'd prefer music videos, I suggest "Seven pillars of wisdom", Fields of Verdun", "To hell and back" and "Lion from the North". For lyric videos I recommend "Carolus Rex", "82:nd all the way", "Long live the King". I could go on forever, but start with these... 😊🤘🇸🇪

Joining the 40:1 @ Woodstock requests, but also: Night Witches!

If you're able to see them in concert you will not be disappointed. My son took me last Oct.5, the singers birthday, a lot smaller venue, BEST FRIGGIN CONCERT EVER!!!! Go see them if you can, you won't regret it.

this festival - started 1995 - used to be called Woodstock as a tribute to 60's Woodstock. nowdays PolandRock is a free admission event that lasts 3-4 days and is visited by c.0.5m people from all around the world every year. There are well known bands there as well as many promising ones. Sabaton were invited in 2012 and performed on the main stage. They had no idea what was ahead of them.

And this Woodstock was in Poland where Sabaton has a lot of fans!

Carolus Rex- one of the best Sabaton's song!!! I'm a fan of them, also new album is incredible!!

Woodstock- Polands biggest festival. Sabaton were "headnumber " " the very last day of the festival 2012. Try "Uprising" from the same concert...you will not be dissappointed . The whole concert from that theý are leaving from their homes in "Falun" Sweden until the very last song at the Woodstock Festival is to find here on KZread. As for other Swedish Powermetalbands .... Try "Amaranthe" . They have a great cover of a Sabaton song called "82 All The Way" ( a little part of American war history). Their female leadsinger - Elize - has a great voice and is super charming ;-) As for other Sabaton favourite tracks: Nightwitches, Sparta, Resist and Bite, Cliffs of Gallipoli, The Red Baron, The Lion from the north, Devil Dogs (US)

Woodstock in Poland is the largest rock concert, possibly not only a rock concert in the world, which is 3 days long. And usually there are from 500,000 people to 750,000

@@Hoopsick It's usually A LOT of people at Woodstock since it's a free festival(i think), compare with other artists that play there and see that many have a really large crowd. Sabaton is huge in Poland and when they played at Woodstock they "expected" that around 200 000 people more would show up at the site.

"Night witches" is an awesome song. Fast-paced, great background story, and catchy as all hell! But "The last stand" and "To hell and back" also comes strongly recommended

Fun fact about Poland. In the year 2000, there was a song of the generation announced by most famous in Polsnd radio station... The Metallica "Nothing Else Matters". This might give you the idea why there's over 700 000 ppl there. Woodstock or now:Pol'and'Rock... Is a family festival. Daytime you have choirs, pop songs etc. Evenings are Rock and 'Head Banging' 😏😎

Normaly on Woodstock comes 400 000 people but on Sabaton in 2012 comes over 700 000 people. In Poland Sabaton is like brathers with respect and love.

That's how power metal works man! They always get you with the catchy choruses! Another great banger is "Seven Pillars of Wisdom", along with "Attack of the Dead Men". Other bands from Sweden you should check out: The Unguided (melodic metal/metalcore): Check out their song "Nighttaker". It has an official music video. Solution .45 (progressive death metal): Check out their song "Perfecting the Void". It has an official lyric video. Amaranthe (female-fronted symphonic metal): Check out their song "365". I've seen Sabatob LIVE in the United States 4 years in a row. From 2015-2019. They always started their set with Ghost Division and get the crowd jumping with Primo Victoria. They are amazing LIVE! Highly recommend seeing then live.

Fun fact, the ghost division was one of the few units that no one ever knew where they were. They were known for being so fast even German High command wasn't sure of their position

Really nice video, watched you the first time with your sabaton videos. I saw Sabaton first time as support for Hammerfall i guess. So if you want more powermetal, i strongly recommend the german band Helloween, but best from the live dvd "United alive", because there are also former Helloween-member like singer Michael Kiske and guitarman and singer Kai Hansen with them and that is a blast. Kiske (the guy without hair) has a really unique voice. Songs of Helloween (Pumpkins United) you should start with: "How many tears" (from their first album) , then "Keeper of the seven seas", "march of time", "future world", "Dr.Stein"... In this order. 😉 Other really nice powermetal bands: Blind Guardian. Songs: "The bards Song" (strongly recommended live Version) , "Valhalla", "Mirror Mirror", "Lord of the rings", "Time stand still". Then there is Powerwolf, good song to start with is "Demons are a girls best friend". Don't forget the band "Dragonforce" with the song "Through the fire and the flames". And really strongly recommended to get live versions of all the songs to react. Hammerfall is also nice, classics from then are: "Glory to the brave", "Renegade", "Hearts on fire", "Let the Hammer fall", "Legion", "Heeding the call", "Blood bound". I could continue, but i think, that is enough for the power metal start. 🙈😉😎

See them live. They put on a helluva show. Got tickets to see them again in September with Priest if this covid thing doesn't mess it up.

So much to recommend, Screaming Eagles official video is my highest recommend. But 90% of their official videos are great. They got 9 albums since 1999 with amazing war history, i allways called them Trubadurs of War

Hey David, for the 76th anniversary of D-Day on Wednesday (6th of June) I highly recommend doing 'Van Canto - Primo Victoria feat Joakim Brodén' They're an acapella metal band with a drummer (yes you read that right), and their version of this Sabaton song (featuring Sabaton's singer) is better than the original in my opinion. Primo Victoria was also what was stenciled on the back of the fishing boat in the Bismarck video.

To take a comment from another reaction to this video. A swedish band in front of a polish audience (650.000+), sing a song about a german elite unit, as you say that is just amazing. This is Woodstock Poland (due to legalese now renamed Pol'n'rock festival) yes always over 500.000 in attendance. If you like power riffs you should try Dragonforce (they call their music extreme power metal), Dragonforce's song "Through fire and flame" was the hardest song on Guitar Hero 3.

Night Witches is also a surpreme song.

BTW, best Sabaton songs: Carolux rex, Primo victoria, but only the Hellgate: London video and NOT the official video!
