kaisers a lil bitch, he throws himself to the ground as a response to everything saaga does so it counts as a technical fall and not a pin, against normal enemies Saaga gets points for back handed drops and leg sweeps but because Kaiser throws himself mid baclhand or sweep its a technical drop and no a pin for saaga =/ fkn bs

King Kaizer is still the greatest villain in this universe. No longer against an opponent he can simply swat down with his superior reach like their match all those years ago, he resorted to a sinister dropkick-based attack style. Easy points with a built-in timer scam. Truly, the fighting style of an evil tyrant.

Really, Kaiser can just fall over whenever Saaga grabs him, which has been proven to work. This battle is a bad matchup for Saaga since Kaiser can escape all takedowns by purposefully falling over and jumping. However, Saaga still won due to better skills.

They repeated the word "break", it sounded like. Probably means they either needed to separate the bots, or a break of the move or guard. Such a break may not count as a point.

I see some controversy about Kaiser's style which I do understand, but no one talks about how OP Sagaa is when he crouches and just uses his wheels to move. No other robot gets to move around so swiftly while being in a near-invincible position. Thank goodness his controller is smart to only use it when it matters the most.

the fact that we have robots advanced enough to be heels in a complex wrestling storyline is truly frightening

I thought that Kaiser put up a good fight, though it was primarily in the second round where he seemed to find a good way to avoid Saaga's "crab-walk death-hug" approach. The dropkicks that he was awarded points for were solid hits, each of which put Saaga on his can. Unfortunately, that's all that Kaiser's able to do here. Saaga's got a low center of gravity and most everyone he goes up against has nice, long legs for him to grab for a throw. I honestly thought that Kaiser would've done far worse.

For real, the moment I saw Kaiser with that long ass leg I went "that's gonna be a nice place for Saaga to grab to", but to my surprise he fared better than most. I might even go so far as to say he might almost be Saaga's match with how good he did on the second round . I really want them to go a third round just to see if Kaiser can turn it around.

Generally, there was no way for Saaga to beat Kaiser either since Kaiser can easily avoid Saaga's most reliable and powerful move. On the flip side, you're correct about how the drop kicks were a great addition, and it was satisfying to see them hit because most failed to knock Saaga over, due to Saaga's low center of gravity. Saaga won with mostly striking and good skill by the controller.

yo saaga should have used his sweep move where he uses his wheels and makes a circle

King Kaiser is the ultimate wrestling heel for Saaga. When Saaga tries to approach Kaiser to grapple him, Kaiser will try to drop kick him and try to evade while delivering a formidable attack by such a towering opponent. It's a cheap get out of jail free card!!

So what's your strategy for this match King Kaiser? "10 Jump 20 Stand up 30 goto 10"

I respect all the saaga stans out there but you can't ignore that king is also saaga level fighter... Those jump kicks were ineffective yet cool

Nah, they're definitely effective! It's a great way to avoid getting suplexed while also having a chance to knock down Saaga. As some have pointed, it's a pretty cheap tactic, which is perfect for a villain.

You can't take me down when im always on the ground. The red one is awsome

Saaga is capable of staying low, so the other, taller robots just trip over it.

The reason why Saaga's knockouts didn't count was because King Kaiser was in the middle of his move. It just so happens that his move is to throw himself, which kind of creates a gap in the rules, since every time Saaga is going to knovk him down he can just throw himself and negate it.

I've seen like 3 episodes and I'm already a King Kaiser mark for life.

King Kaiser’s master strats: Slip so you don’t lose points from Saaga’s OP as fuck suplexes and hope you don’t get punched

In this fight this was the first official fight they've had in 4 years against each other, their first match sagga was just the challenger and lost severely,4 years later sagga was a new man,having gained the title multiple times,in this fight sagga fought at his best so he could lay his inner demons to rest

At first, I thought King Kaiser's method of attack was terrible. But then I realized that the timer still ticks down while the robots self-right. As long as he gets the lead, even a failed dropkick can lead to victory.

if these was real people, its insane. this tall giant is making aerial moves and only that vs a little giant whose main moves is to decimate them by throwing them over his head.

Close fight. If it wasn't for 5:48 Kaiser would've won, and almost saved by the bell too. I just don't know how they score these fights lol Also Saaga's current version(design) is awesome

Takedown normally means 2 points. A grapple to the mat, such as the suplexes Saaga does, is 1 point.

4 clean knockdown, 2 knockdown, 1 knockdown if you fall too. Sometimes this varies tho

it wasn't a close fight at all. saaga is incredibly superior. what hauser did was exploit lackluster rules to buy "invincibility frames" for 85% of the match

So Kaisers strat was basically yeet himself at Saaga

I feel like only Saaga is designed specifically for this game... being short, heavy, and with wide flat feet. While others are just for eye candy being tall, light, and small feet. This aren't your go to features if you're going for stability.

This was completely unfair for Saaga. How can it win when its opponent can't even walk in a straight line and stay up. King Kaiser was on the ground for most of the fight on accord of itself.

Dirty play by a villain bot

There should be a penalty for failed attacks that result in attacker being downed. Then there would be this cheap and shameless style of fighting employed by King Kaiser.

This seems to be a rule made to accomodate the current tech and skill level. If they penalized mis-execution too much now, the fights would become too calculating and boring. As tech improve, this rule will change, I think.

Saaga should have won that fight handilly. There were many swipes and grabs where he threw KK down but did not get any points, whereelse KK scored points for every dropkick he landed??? Which was 3,4 out of 20?? Also there were many attempts from KK that failed and he fell down. That served no purpose other than refusing to engage and wasting time. The rules should be modified where if a robot attempted a takedown and failed and falling down itself 3 times, then a point should be awarded to it's opponent. Most Importantly there was once, where Saaga countered KK's swanton bomb and caught KK's legs in mid air, grabbed them in mid-air and supplexed KK on it's head. Saaga should have been awarded 3 points for that (a counter of an opponents offense). Thats how Randy Orton sometimes counters his opponents finishing moves resulting in a more devastating RKO for himself. Overall, stupid refereeing in this match!

i agree, Saaga normaly uses allot of backhands and leg sweeps to down oponants but everytime he did vs KK he jumps and falls so they dont count it as a pin =/ bitch strat imo

King kaiser is my favorite bot i love his signature drop kick i also like saagas signature suplex that can game end any bot saaga has so many moves and so unique.

Kaiser's attack is incredibly hard to do since it needs to be accurate or fail. No in-between. That's not good especially when Saaga is very mobile and balance. Still very interesting.
