​@@AndreiTupolev I once read a story from an ex blue angels pilot. When they flew F4 Phantom, he accidentally went mach 1 at a display in canada and shattered many windows in the town. The canadians were not happy.

This is what the RCAF should have bought instead of the F-35. we are not a superpower and we don't need a superpower airplane. This or the Saab Gripen has the capabilities the F-35 at a fraction of the cost. Is it too late to cancel that order?

I say they did the right thing, RCAF isn't a superpower yes but it does have the money to buy better things and the facility to maintain them, it made sense for Brazil and Africa to buy Gripens because its relatively low maintenance compared to the F-35, but if you are offered a better option, why not go for a better one _also just saying, F-35 prices have gone down significantly thanks to economies of scale, even cheaper than Gripen_ Still, i love Gripen
