I'm running my sa 12 @ 2 ohms 1400 watts rms. Takes my rearview mirror off my windshield. Insane how loud 1 12 can get. 2 years going strong!

I just got a sa 12 in a Q bomb box.. haven't got a amp yet.. brand new. What amp you recommend... Skar 1200 watt?

Hands down my favorite line. This is where the phrase “more bang for your buck” may have been coined 😆 I call it a sleeper sub. Got a pot’na (MrBodean2010) on YT, that’s been running his four SA/12s for several years now. Upgrade to a 12k, putting the boots to them. Taking the power like a champ. Finally retired them, with 0 issues and upgraded to the U series......🤯 I’m a Sundown believer 💯

Started off with SD4 12” Then got another.. Then got rid and got a xv2 15” Now some electrical upgrading,so i can get a second 16”😞

I love mine .. absolutely 100 % worth way more than what I paid for it... been hitting it with about 1100 watts for over a year and it hasn't missed a beat ... the performance of the sa-12 turned me into a sundown fan . since then I've gotten sa 6.5 components and just ordered sae100.4 from down for sound .. my plans are to have strictly sundown audio only in my car .. thanks for the great products

Jeremy Eubanks have a pair myself since around last October. Have a rockford 1k on them now. They screaming for more juice. Total Sundown fan bc of them. My first pair of Sundowns subs too.

I'll second you on that my man. My first experience with Sundown was my friend's v1 SA-12, it BLEW ME AWAY with the output. I could not believe the quality and extension that came from it, all I knew up to that point was Rockford Prime and lower end stuff... Had the boys at King Kong Audio surprise my girlfriend with a 12 incher, and now my whole family is on the Sundown hype train. Great products, great people, Sundown for life.

Yeah I had kicker CVRs prior. Was a big step for me. Nightshades got me drooling tho.

I had 2 SA-10s on a scv2k for half a year then upgraded to a 4800k amp on clean power for 6 months took it like a champ. Now i got a NSV4 12. Love me some sundown subs!

I hope you guys starts doing some vids like this on your E series. I love my E series. Ive been hitting mine with 750 rms . Truly worth every penny. Thanks guys.

The woofer that got me back into car audio without question. Simply Amazing... Single zv5 15 ftw tho!!

Love my SA-12, it's in a 2.0 cu.ft. slot ported box, older Kenwood exceleron 1600 mono amp pushing 900 rms, never gets warm, cannot bottom it out with this setup. The thing loves power. Tuned at 30hz nice and low. Amazing value, the power handling/quality/price ratio was why I gave you my money. No one around me had heard of Sundown, then i told em it was single ported 12", LOL gets em every time.

Sa12 my favorite woofer. Got my first 2 sa12s back in 2010. I have been running sa12 since 2010 until last month. I have u 12s now. Sa12 will be going in my other vehicle

These subs got me back into car audio!... I now have 1 15" level 5 DC audio sub 😁

Looks like I should be good running 3 of these at .67 on a Salt 4K 🤤

I love my SA15's ive got 6 in a 4th order 6.86 cubes sealed and 24 cubes ported does 158.7 at 41hz on a single ampere 5k.

Will this fit in a truck box under 6 deep?

I know it's probably not, but what's the "bottoming out" noise when you have it on the bench? I'd think it could be leads hitting cone, if they weren't woven but they are, so...help me out lol

I have the new JL Auio VXI 600/1 amp for a sub. What would you recommend for the amp that I have? I personally would only like to have 1 sub in my trunk.

I have mine in a 2.25 cb ft box at over 1.2k

Why don't you build everything in house instead of just the higher end subwoofers ? I love all your products and the SA12 is the next subs I am buying. Just 2 SA12s in a ported box is all I need for every day bumping.

I have mine on 200 vr3 amp I swear that amp pushes way more like 1000 watts on 1 ohm

I got me 2 of those and i still don't know what amp to push them with..any suggestions??

The guy i got my current blazer from had 8 of the SA 15s in the 4th order wall doing 156 @ 40hz sealed clamping 4500 watts

All SA series subwoofers are made in China. They're a lower level less expensive line of product that's easier and less expensive to have made in our build house in China. We are capable of building them here in the US and do rebuilds on SA subs on a regualr basis. If we built them all here the price would have to go up and nobody would want to pay it.

How well will an SA work in a 3cuft box?

Barry Weible what woofer and sz? I can give you specs to a tuned box to whatever tuning you like. What dimensions do you have to work with.

I found some specs. But I had hip replacement surgery and can't do much. That's why I was looking for a prefab box.

When a speaker brand can blatantly say "our subs are made in China but they're badass and you can pump nearly 25% more power to them than what they're rated with no problems at all" then you know they're badass.

sundown sells it for 299 amazon sells same exact sub for 194, well shit if m spending 200 on a sub and i cant put 1,000 watts true rms to it then theirs a serious issue. Yup i remember tiny subs like these when i had my starter system YRS ago lol, shit now i could run more then 10 at once with my amp set to half way and ide blow these things apart. Bout damn time sundown has a sub which the price vs performance actually balance out.

@@UnofficialAudio No i said on the sundown recone video you made which you responded to the other day. i stated how you missed stages required in a sundown recone as well as things you didnt list needed in order to do the recone. I had challenged you to a one on one in person you pick any sundown 12 you wanna and ill pull one of my 12's outa my box and well do a side by side which is easier and faster you completely failed to respond to that comment yet responded with your as usual repeat comment. You challenged a guy years ago who u knew would back outs building a sub which i had stated ide love that challenge which you failed to respond to that as well. you seem to do a great job talking big on people who dont take your challenges yet you dont like to respond to those who challenge you with facts. come this summer when i add more subs to my setup ill gladly go head to head with you on who hits harder. im going to 6 of my 12s ive already seen what 8 of my 12's can do on only 20k watts.

they purposely underate the subwoofers so they seem better than they are, any other brand at the same price level will also push 0-1500 watts rms

I killed my first one running it at 4000W rms
