I’m running a 255/35/20 on a 20x8.5 front and a 305/30/20 on a 20x10 rear with eibach sportline lowering springs.

All you need is a set of P51 WHEELS, they are made specifically for the s550 mustang and are really lite.

Can you run a 305 tire on the front with a 2018-2021 mustang with 20x10 wheels?

Great video but a lot of people do not like 20" wheels and would rather go with 19s. Would have thought you could have given us a 19" fitment example.

Am planning on upgrading brakes ftom stock (4piston) to GT350R brakes, and two main questions. Front which wheel can I use what specs? And for the rear having larger track can I use something like pp1 or pp2 wheels?

Super informative! Wider wheels from CJ for my 2015 Orange GT are on my list; probably 19x11 Rear & 19x10 Front. Will I need a spacer plate ? what offset ? Silverdeamon92 thanks for the compliment! The offset doesn’t have a huge effect on weather a wheel is concave, that is more the design of the wheel itself. Most concave wheels still have a positive offset.

Bill, are you running spacers on your set up? And was your car dropped with Ford performance springs on this set up? I'm looking to put 20x10 and 20x11 with stock suspension 2019 mustang gt. Will your set up fit my car and be more flush to the car? Thanks.

I have a 2017 and I run a 255/35/20 front and 305/35/20 rear with steeda progressive lowering springs and it’s perfect.

Just curious - on the first vehicle shown the video states that 295/35 x 20 is 27.5" tall, but on tire size calculators and TireRack stated diameter is 28.1". I like the look but how does this affect gearing, etc? Scrub angle is also increased by a lot with 11" x 50mm offset. I'm really in the weeds about this when considering a +1 setup for my Mach 1.

Quick question. I have the same AMR AR924 Crossfire wheels that the black mustang has on my S550. I have a 275/35/20 tire up front on the 20x9 +35mm offset wheels. If I lower my car on 1" eibach pro-kit springs will it cause rubbing on the front wheels/tires? If so what size spacers would I need to get in order to achieve a proper fitment to avoid rubbing?

Bill, you failed to mention that the difference between losing and winning is the increased rear 0.4" tread width going from 295 vs 305 tires. And just last week my friend with 305's met a lovely lady who didn't want anything to do with the other guy, turns out he had 295's..😎

Hey guys, I have a 2017 Mustang GT and I’m looking into getting the GT350 wheels from ford. They are 10.5 wide in the front. Would that fit on my Mustang? Also I’ve looked into the MRR M350 wheels. I’ve heard they crack easy and the quality is not the greatest... is it worth it to order the genuine GT 350 wheels over the MRR wheels??

Yes I like that look with those size tires but I didn't understand that much . I have stock 20× 9 .5 all around believe on my car . Do I have to get and spacers so I can fit this size tires on it ? It's not drop everything still stock .thanks

I have never used RTR rims but a 305 30 will fit fine on a 10 in wheel.

Would this be the same for the 2013

The American Racing AR924 doesn't make 20x11. Can you give the correct size and offset of the 3rd s550?

Hey need some help, I’m trying to get some 19x10 +35 offset all around and a 285/35/19s, but i also want to lower the car about 1inch on all sides, my question is if my 285s will fit on the car specially on the front once i lower the car?

How are the Nitto NT555 G2 tires? My 2019 Mustang is stock, for now. It'll eventually be full bolt on with most likely 500+ whp.

I have been very happy with the ride and wear I have gotten out of the G2s, at that power level any tire short of a drag radial will have issues in lower gears.

Damn this video was excellent... What size tires do you recommend for 4.10 gears to get optimal performance?

It depends on year, transmission, car use, goals, etc. There is no perfect gear and tire combo.

Im running 265/35/20 on my Mustang GT can i go to 275/35/20?

Just an FYI - Bill falsely stated that 295/35/R20 is 27.5" tall, when it is in fact 28.1" and a 305/35/R20 is almost 28", when it's actually 28.4"

Hello, I watch alot of your s550 videos and I ended up buying the borla ATAK for my s550. My next purchase is wheels. My question is. I want a squared setup. So what would be widest tire I could run and what is the best wheel size (offset) to also get a flush fitment to the fender. Would this create camber? Or would a flush wheel fitment work if I plan to do a 1.5" lowering kit.

On a square setup it is tough to use larger than a 275 up front. We have 295s on our SEMA car and it took spacers and longer studs to make it fit right.

Trying to get a set of snow tires for my 2019 gt California special but have no idea about the wheel sizes. Can my car fits 17 inches wheels? Any Brand of wheels are more budget friendly but also with ok quality?

You need to go with 18's to clear your calipers for non PP and most likely 19's for PP! My base 16 GT I was good with 18's because it was non PP! The Bridgestone Blizzak WS80's are best for these stangs unless you got $$$ for the Nokian Hekkapelitta's?
