S2EP60 - FJ40 Ebay Radiator, What is the issue, can it be sorted?

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

We buy a Radiator from Ebay, but we run into some fitment issue.
There is two different sizes of Radiators for the 40 Series, I have brought the most common size and then found that I needed the larger Radiator, So we had to come up with a Fix, and we share how it can to fixed and installed.

As I watched this episode and saw the bracket issue my first thought was: “Jason is a wizard with metal. Why doesn’t he just fab up something to make the new one fit the existing bracket?” Glad to see great minds think alike! Great work, mate!

Why not a new OEM radiator? They are quite cheap and still available.

Sadly Not that cheap more then double the price of this one, running on a budget for this build.

Sounds like you should bring the old one as a spare

Not a bad Idea, but the old one has some damage and leaks.

In my humble opinion, e-bay is not the place to buy stuff

Yes you may be right, but someone has to be the Guinea pig and test it. It could be a big fail, 😟 but what better way of testing then a 5000km trip into outback Australia!
