[S1 - Eps. 65] CROSSING INTO TURKMENISTAN

Want to know what gear & equipment I use? www.itchyboots...
After riding the last 240 kilometers to Mashad, and picking up my visa (yeah!), I am going to cross the border from Iran into Turkmenistan the next day.
This was by far the most bizarre border crossing! Entering Turkmenistan was surreal and I'm still quite unsure what to think of Aschebad. Definitely ranks amongst one of the most fascinating cities I've ever been to.

Don't know how she does it. It must get so lonely on the one hand and also scary as a woman on the other hand. Plus it must be physically very demanding AND on top of all the travelling she's editing and uploading her days footage. I'd really like to know what her primary motivation is.

You are living the dream, kid. Living the dream. That was the most beautiful city that I have ever seen but, eerie. Huge thoroughfares, spotless, everything white, yet no automobiles to speak of, no people but lots of street sweepers.

So, I recently discovered your channel in season 6. The one where you filled out the form for the JACKPOT! 😁 Good luck with that! Anyway, I watched a few of your season 6 videos and became aww struck! I mean, WOW! So, I decided to go back to the beginning and watch all of your videos. I’m on Season 1, episode 64. You have AMAZING STRENGTH and courage! I’m really enjoying the beautiful scenery but also, learning about people across the world as well. My husband was in the Navy and he spent some time in Iran in 1990. He told me that they were really nice people. It was very cool to see how they treat you and how they just took you under their wing. That’s so amazing. Every time your scarf started to fall off I would worry that somebody would give you a hard time or even get mad at you but nobody ever got ugly with you. Goes to show that you can’t believe everything you hear about people. Meaning things you read or hear on the internet or through social media. I’m not really a big social media person anymore but used to be . For the most part or as a whole, they are all wonderful, amazing and good hearted people. ♥️
