For the Basic Skill I am using Puncture. I really like this basic skill because it makes enemies vulnerable and helps boost energy regeneration. Throw blades a short distance dealing damage. Every 3rd cast slows enemies by 20% for 2 seconds. The enhanced puncture modifier speeds up energy regeneration because you gain 2 energy every time you damage a crowd-controlled enemy. The fundamental puncture modifier is a must have since it makes any enemy hit with a least 2 blades, vulnerable. Vulnerable enemies will always take 20% increased damage.
The core skill on this build and the skill this whole build revolves around is Rapid Fire. I know theres some players out there that prefer barrage but it really depends on what youre looking for. If you want a skill that has decent AOE damage to help you attack multiple targets at once, you would choose the barrage over Rapid Fire. I have to say though Rapid Fire feels way more consistent. The range is better than barrage and Rapid fire works better when focusing on a single target since the arrows shoot in a straight line instead of outwards.
For the next skill I’m using concealment. Vanish from sight, gaining an advanced form of stealth for 4 seconds that will not be removed by taking damage. Concealment will also make you unstoppable, granting 30% movement speed and the ability to move freely through enemies during its duration. Skills like concealment are important when you’re trying to complete higher tier nightmare dungeons because you need a skill to save you when youre getting overwhelmed. The enhanced Stealth modifier gives you 40 energy back when you enter concealment. The Countering stealth modifier is a must have since every skill that breaks stealth will be a guaranteed critical strike.
This brings us into the next skill on this build, Poison Trap. The aspect alone turned this skill from a basic single trap skill into a AOE damage monster. To take advantage of this builds incredibly high burst damage, I like to start every combo by activating concealment. During that short period of time while I’m invisible to enemies I try to stack all of my poison traps on top of elites or usually the most difficult enemy to kill during that moment. Once all traps activate it will knock down your opponent stacking your crit chance even higher thanks to some other passives we have on this build, allowing you to deal insane amounts of damage in a short period of time.
Speaking of imbuement skills, the main one I'm using on this build is Cold Imbuement. Imbue your weapons with frigid energies. Your next 2 imbueable skills deal cold damage and chill enemies for 35% per hit. I prefer the cold imbuement over the shadow and poison imbuement because being able to immobilize enemies and freeze enemies in place is a huge benefit to have. I also feel the cold imbuement just does more damage overall.
In my personal opinion the BEST Ultimate skill to use on this build is Rain of Arrows. Theres so many different variables on this build that make this ultimate skill incredibly strong which you‘ll see in the skill tree in just a minute here. With rain of arrows, arrows will rain over a large area on screen 2 times and destroy everything. To make rain of arrows even stronger I recommend imbuing your weapon with cold and activating stealth before unleashing this ultimate. The cold imbuement will freeze all enemies on screen and breaking concealment will ensure every hit from rain of arrows is a crit since the countering stealth modifier on the concealment skill guarantees that all attacks that break concealment will be a critical hit.
