Great video! I'm using this build for my first playthrough! I did have a question, though. The Bolt of Gran requires 20 str and 40 dex to use, but at level 150, you have str set at 15. Am I missing something that makes up the other 5 points? Keep making these great videos!

Beginner build checklist 1. Run as fast as your horse can straight to end game area. 2. Kill any friendly NPC and get their loot. Don't worry about their quest line or the fact they give you their great for free later.

My favorite messesmr build is anything with frost he slows down and makes the fight alot easier honestly like those attacks where if you had just a second more he would have missed your healing animation and you could have rolled just in time.

I have never needed over 23 stats in minds for the entire game from befriending to end as a mage dex build and only need 3 fp pots and have never run out of fp… 40 invested into mind tells me this guy has no clue and don’t listen to him. He is correct tho is spell swords are some of the baddest dude in the between

Yeah dude, you didn't say going to get the robes would get you MEGA KILLED and f***ING STUCK in there with all your gold. Now I'm stuck in a poison cave I can't retrieve my body from and I have over 100,000k RUNES. Ruined my run. Can't get out the cave, can't save all my runes. Horrible explanation dude. You NEED to fix this s**t.

Pro tip: booster glaive handle + black steel cutter blade will give you an amazing technique scaling + inherent fire damage and long range for a melee weapon. You dont need to buff it always does fire

Great vid! Question, you said youre using offensive incantations its best to go with beastclaw seal but what incantations would go well with this? Why choose it over tree seal?

Both seals will work! Just depends on your stats. I would use any fire incantations so you can benefit from the talismans 👍

Don’t forget to mention that if you quickly kill the dragon and go to the Gracepoint and rest, you can get the ruins and the dragon will still be there very important, but it has to be quick as soon as you kill it as soon as you see that flinch immediately dash to the rest point rest and you’ll get youralso try to make sure you have the golden scarab to get a 20%

You find smithing stones as you play the game for upgrading. Keen is perfect because it’s scaling with dexterity.

I feel it's SO important to put what Journey you're on in videos like this for folks like me on Journey 7+. When builds are showcased 2 or 3 shotting bosses when they are on Journey 2 or 3, they never specify.

Thank you for this video. I respec into this and im level 230 My vigor 75 Strength 75 Faith 65 Endurance 30 Mind 25 Im using full Veterans armor and it takes like 10 hits to kill me on DLC. Blasphemous blade heals too

@@ColdBwoyy Gotcha. I got it later by Googling how to use Ashes of War. But upgrading the weapon to level 9; that takes Smithing Stones. But you don't say anything about it. It's not really a "beginner" guide, more like a redline idea and Google the rest.
