I feel like the music really conveys that sense of exhaustion, relaxation, relief, and sorrow that you would feel coming back from the dark places of the Zone. You get to have a drink and breathe and rest safely for a bit, but you are still a little nervous because you know you'll have to go back out.

There's a word out there that once you enter the Zone and stay there a bit, you can never really exit it, it's like you become a part of it and the Big Land seems like the Zone seemed to you in the beginning.

I can not express with the words how beautifully this music fits to the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Ambient environment. 100 Rads bar is a great place.

It is home. Nothing will ever be like the experience of escaping the stresses of the world to enter this game, and immersing myself in the world. That immersion included hanging out at 100rads to relax, enjoy the atmosphere and music, and feel safe at a familiar place

Technically speaking, the voice line in it's original language doesn't say "Get out of here Stalker" but something along the lines of "Proceed on your way Stalker" like just telling you not to get out, but rather continue on your way as that is just a passage under security. So, if you want to, you can kinda see the message of spurring you out to reach your goals more in the original language, as he would want you to proceed on the way of your ideals or goals.

​@@MARKHENSTROMI've been struggling for hours first time too. And if I remember correctly, in my mod there were actually marker for it. The problem is, marker was in the middle of the Arena.

Maybe just one more vodka, before I have to go back out there..

even after 12 years after the game release i put this song in a rainy night making myself a cup of hot tea with a cigarette, I look out the window and enjoy from this music with the sound of the rain and thunder outside, while drink my hot tea and smoke the cigarette. The atmosphere of the game is stuck in my memory forever, when i played first time this game i was 13, now i'm 22. thanks to the "GSC game world" team for making my childhood better.

As long as you hear this music you know you are in a safe place.

I love this game so much... And this track is by far my favorite. It's the whole ambience of the game in a nutshell. And all those stalkers around you... Speaking... Yeah, the 100Rad is definitely perfect. This music gave me the envy to play Stalker again, and I think I will. This game is by very far my favorite FPS of all times. Fallout sucks in front of that. I actually played the 3 stalker chapters... And my favorite is clearly Shadow of Chernobyl, even if Call of Pripyat was fucking great. Now, get out of here, Stalker !

Fallout and STALKER are two very different genres of games. Fallout is RPG (or at least Fallout 1/2/3 and New Vegas are). STALKER is more survival horror fps, with light rpg elements.

Yes, as is the Metro series. What (I think) Maniac is saying is he got the most from the Stalker series (especially SHOC). Perhaps I understand his statement because I completely agree, I dunno but.... I go as far as saying that I may have gotten the most out of Stalker compared to any other FPS. To me, the game was just that profound of an experience, especially the endings!

@@butchdeloria3797 Nah honestly STALKER blows Fallout out of the water in terms of the experience, only New Vegas compares. STALKER are probably the most atmospheric games there are. Its weird but STALKER feels like a really intimate experience

I find S.T.A.L.K.E.R to be quite an intimate experience, that's going to remain in your memory for ever. Too bad there is no S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 on the horizon. :'(

how about DESOLATE (even tho' it's still in development - it's on steam early access...)... it takes place on an island Granichny (basically the zone) which has "mutated" (the environment and fauna - yes, there are "anomalies", too) due to some experiment gone wrong... and you play as this Volunteer guy (basically stalker)... it's a very similar game to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (with contemporary gameplay, I feel that stalker kinda didn't age all that well, as I've picked it up recently, it's still great, tho')

this music gives that distinct feeling and atmosphere for the 100 rads bar. staying at the bar hearing the same dialogues on repeat while this song plays in the background gives a somewhat mix of nostalgia and other weird emotions that only exists when you're in the bar. the 100 rads is not 100 rads without this song

this song and 100 rads alone elevate this game a lot. it's the same feeling you get in a resident evil save room, relaxation, like you're finally safe to let your guard down in a normally harsh environment.

Kind of gives off Resident Evil 4 save room vibes. Kind of melancholy yet peaceful.

Unmatched Atmosphere, just incredible. This game has never gotten it´s polish but it does not matter, the Atmosphere cements this an an all-time great, would have been simply too perfect with more polish
