I grew up playing stalker. When i was an adult and somehow became successful, i learned russian and lived in Ukraine. Video games are not just a waste of time. They can influence you in ways beyond entertainment, especially something like STALKER. When we enter the zone, part of us never leaves, and honestly, the most important part is what stays behind. I love that after all these years games like S.T.A.L.K E.R. and the Metro games still have such supportive fan bases.

Whoever wrote and played these songs are really good. I mean, really good.They have such a good sound and the songs flow so nicely. Makes you just want to stop what you're doing and bob your head along to the strumming.

I'm in the process of getting beautifully drunk with vodka, and I'm listening to this...time stays still, all is good fellow stalkers ! STALKER 4 LIFE ! Edit after 5 years : 4th of April 2020, the world is currently affected by a new virus which doesn't have a cure so far; a vaccine should be ready anywhere from a couple of months to a couple of years. I'm glad i found my comment after all this time, oh how I wish I'd get beautifully drunk once more! I will retreat to the countryside and get well pissed, as I listen and talk to the guitar playing.

3:50 - 4:53 is the guitar only version of the OST *Against The Ionized Odds* by *Firelake* , It's about hunting Bloodsuckers on the abandoned village in the _Army Warehouses_ . For me, it's the best campfire song cause you can feel the fear and horror and imagine how brutal the destiny of every hunter must have been. Gets even better when you're on that village and see that spooky atmosphere there, truly GSC knows how to make a depressed atmosphere.

Your throat feels sore. Your muscles are aching. You feel something moving in your throat. You try to scream but no sound comes out. A strange chitinous appendage bursts out from your mouth.

I have been looking for these for far to long

Anyone who enjoys reading should read Roadside Picnic, it's the inspiration for the STALKER games and it's just a really good scifi book

Вот знаете, порой приятно просто задуматься о том, что мы можем проникнуться атмосферой этого жестокого, но порой теплого и приятного мира сталкера, при этом сидя вдали от этого места в реальности, в уютной и комфортной обстановке и просто наслаждаться подобными моментами, когда ты не проходишь сюжетную линию, не ищешь что-то по квесту, не стреляешься насмерть, а просто сидишь на ctrl'е у костра рядом с простыми неписями, что просто рассказывают анекдоты, играют музыку и перекусывают. Именно в такие моменты ты и вспоминаешь, что это игры, в которых именно такие моменты и делают игру живой, он не являются какими-то особыми или представляют из себя что-то сложное в плане работы, анимаций и так далее, а просто моменты, когда ты собираешься с мыслями и наблюдаешь на этот мир со стороны

yea like I play stalker:anomaly with some mods and it's the only thing that keeps me happy with my current finanical situation of my family being so low that my dumbass father is retiring too soon even though he's not old enough to retire and he didn't thought of what would happen to his kids if he laze around all day long. While stalker makes me happy and acceptful
