i seriously love that detail of eggman slumping over in the stage select screen after tails and knuckles die

I loved this a lot. The knuckles segment was REALLY smart and I'm very glad they did the "fake soft-lock". I also really enjoy how the controls and collisions were odd. It really does give a sense like it was abandoned.

I really liked that this game embraced the weird mechanics and collisions. It adds to the uncanny nature of a supposed messed up rom. I'm pretty sure the broken controls are on purpose at this point because it just worked so well... If you think about it, if you have a haunted game, the mechanics will probably be a dut broken lol

Wether or not the buggy controls are intentionally, they should really keep it, it really sells the idea that the rom is fucked up

Honestly, the sprite work for Unl is peak perfection, along with the level design, really adds that Hacked Rom style to it. Sure the gameplay was a bit wonky, but it came back with solid jump scares and gore. I would like to see this developer do a crossover with the creators of EYX, would be interesting to see this guy’s level design with the analog horror that EYX brings.

Knuckles death caught me so of guard and it was something unexpected. Well done with the animations and thanks Lugikid for playing it for our entertainment.

I love how people are finally using the "crappy .exe game" style to their advantage. I also love how uncanny the opening is, nothing fits and it just looks like someone's first rom hack. Reminds me of Sonic 2 Special Edition's title screen for some reason

Somewhat unique jump-scares, while maintaining the horror throughout the game. There's just so much potential here, especially in the art department!

Knuckles’ part made me kinda sad. The ending truly made me feel like he definitely accepted his fate and tried to think of positive things while he was being devoured.

This makes Lord X and Sonic EYX look like child's play. This is probably the most horrific, disturbing and horrifying Sonic I've ever seen.

I love how the creator made the control and collision jankiness from his troll games a canon "feature" of the creepypasta lol.

that fake softlock with knuckles was actually so damn good taking control away from your player just increased the stakes before sonic kills you

If you pay attention in the menu before tails death there all happy, then after tails death there sprites they seem worried and after knuckles death, you can see eggman being extremely scared like he cradling himself

Like i commented before, I feel my only genuine complaint was the physics. Specifically tails' physics in green hill act 3, some of those jumps SHOULDN'T BE POSSIBLE. The only explanation I could give how that is even possible, is magnetic feet

Physics look a bit wonky on this one but the sprite work is absolutely insane. Definitely one of the better EXE games for that alone

This is defi itely one o the better Sonic.Exe recent takes I have seen. Also I love how Sonic.UNL is almost like an eldritch horror instead of just sonic with bloody black and red eyes for the thousandth time (I mean I always enjoy it, but I do also like new interesting takes too)
