There is something excruciating about this. Like a soul cry. It’s almost uncomfortable to listen to but at the same time addictive. I don’t know what he’s singing but I can feel it.

'Fjara' has always been my ultimate favourite of Sòlstafir.

Apparently its the oldest language still in use in the modern world. A very close derivative of Old norse, just with new words added as necessary.

Music is its own language and once in a while we can understand its meaning without knowing the words. This is one of those songs.

I never loved metal. Solstafir made the difference. The song'lagnaetti' stole my heart and my mind. SOlstafir became fastly my favourite band. Love the melody , the guitar the bass the drums and the voice. Magnificent!
