I agree that this should've been a regular release but tamashii isn't that nice. I'm hoping that, that last thing they said in their Instagram post means that people who don't have access to premium bandai can get the figure easily

I dont want to wait until 2024 September though man to be honest, i hope third party companies try their hand at him too. Maybe its cause im impatient but this is my favorite iteration of Frieza

Third party for the most part has been kinda weird about not doing non Saiyan characters. There's always the possibility that it could happen but I wouldn't hold my breath for it

@bombasticplasticaf1030 I remember I would always hear you talk about full powered freeza coming out in your past videos. I just would never have expected it to be this soon. It's funny, though. I should've noticed it from miles away.

I miss this form of frieza, granted its far weaker than even golden form; but seeing this ripped short alien guy fight is both hillarious and terrifying. Golden and black form feel more like final form recolours. I love the shiny gold but... it feels less like a frieza transformation and more a saiyan thing. Maybe it's just me. I just like forms that change a characters body and/or shape rather than add x colour to them. Even ssjg kept goku's base hair but the aura effect had this fire effect to is (and sound) which was cool. I really wish we got a powerful form in the future that evolved on full power / 100%/ Super form. The closest we got was Legendary Super Saiyan and my goodness does that look cool !

That news about limited regular release for areas without P Bandai is still kinda vague at this point. It's like giving news without the actual content. Where is it for specifically? And how do those people from those areas order this? Assuming they already figure out all these logistics, they should have announced the specifics if it applies to ordering this figure. For example, as a Malaysian, P-Bandai recommends I buy from P-Bandai Hong Kong but they usually don't release popular figures like this for overseas customers (only leftover stock from less popular lineups) so I ended up using 3rd party services to order from Japan in the end. About Grade 3 SS Trunks, well, I'll say they have the ability to do that way before. We've seen Full Power Broly and how they manage to do bulky muscular characters (and it even is a general release at that). About the wind swept hair, I don't think it'll come with Nail or monster Zarbon. All the DLC usually come with characters that has connections with the character, for example Qweyi with Vegeta, Super Hero releases with Gohan and full power Frieza with Goku. I'll take a guess to say the wind swept hair might come with an updated 3.0 mold of regular Frieza.

This is one caveat to what your talking about, with the dlc pieces being packed in with a related character. Is the ultimate Gohan dlc. The wind swept hair if I'm not mistaken came with DBS broly and he hasn't even met Gohan in Canon, at least not yet. I think there's more incentive to put it with nail or monster zarbon because those are less popular characters so to move more units they may use that to entice people. It worked really well with the gammas

You're right, I forgot about the base form DBS Broly with wind swept Gohan head, who hasn't met Broly technically. But that still is classified under my previous statement about Super Hero releases with Gohan, since that version of Broly is from that movie.

Ive been wanting this form for so long but damn that price point gonna gut punch me so hard you'll see the hand coming out my back

I’ll certainly get one. But I’ve to say that this is the most ridiculous pick for a P-Bandai release (since the UI Sign Goku) given how popular this version of Frieza is. Chiefly true right after the release of the new buff legendary SS Goku. Why hype him so much over social media and other outlets just to reveal him as a limited release? So they can charge more? I’ll use my $30 Frieza for a cut-up version to recreate the “YOU FOOL!” scene. People been praising the reboot Naruto line, including yours truly because of the QC plus accessories. However, I can’t shake the feeling that it’s the next franchise that will be infested with more P-Bandai releases than normal releases. Being a collector of this line for over a decade, this is my take on Bandai’s handbook to make a line its cash cow: - Phase 1: Attract fan base with fan-favorite releases at good prices while including a compelling set of accessories - Phase 2: Build reputation with solid releases with little to no exclusives to make the line thrive. - Phase 3: Hike the price and/or start giving less accessories while skimping on paint application. Think of starting new factories to ramp up production of new figures. - Phase 4: Realizing the unprecedented demand for the line inside and outside the aftermarket, start doing more P-Bandai releases than general releases. - Phase 5: Keep releasing whatever as exclusives at random prices and the hopelessly passionate fan base will still buy no matter the price/where it’s released. (Aka where we are in the Dragon Ball Figuarts line.)

Yeah I would definitely have to agree. Pretty much anyone from the main story who is significant should not be a P.B.E. . But one thing I'm sure Bandai tamashii nations has made up in their mind, is that with all the new intellectual properties they've obtained they make all of the releases for those lines general releases and dragon ball for the most part will be their premium bandai line. I just realized this is pretty much what you said, worded differently. I'ma still send this message though 😂

I think I have an idea as to what they might do. We will get regular final form 3.0. Freiza and can call it 50% power. Also, possibly 3 or 4 gokus in 3.0, base form goku, kaio ken x20 goku, and a sprit bomb goku which can be used to make an ssj goku when beating kid buu.
