Them King parades use to go crazy, you just always expected something to pop off. Just a random memory in ‘09 I was a freshmen at Manual Arts, the 30’s and 40’s had just called a truce, but there was a dude from the Darc called “Tiny Thumbs Down”, so he had to line up some fades in the back by the basketball gym with Foshay from 30’s and a couple other dudes from 30’s

He right about the killing part. LA is one of the safest big cities. I believe once drive by’s started to be looked down upon, the violence dropped. Too many people can’t stomach walking down and seeing blood but it’s easy shooting from a speeding car and not knowing if you hit someone until the news come on. When that stopped, it calmed down. Compared to Chicago and Philly, LA has double the population and only half the murders, which is a good thing. I believe they could actually move past the gang stuff but too many people holding on to it. The streets will always be the streets but the politics can subside.
