My favorite channel on youtube. It's evident how hard you guys work. Filming yourself solo with multiple cameras bow hunting in open country like that? dang...awesome....

You need a pair of lightweight moccasins for those final stalks and for around camp at night.

Mark5Fish this is private land, the "best" fallow trophies in NZ are generally found on private land. With private land hunts you can normally hunt them "behind wire" or "free range". Shooting a fallow buck free range is more desirable to the "real" hunter, and while the deer numbers are higher than say on public land, actually managing to shoot a "trophy" buck can be a real challenge. Fallow can be hunted easily enough on public land here in NZ as well. Numbers are lower but there are plenty of places to hunt them. You don't need a tag. If hunting on private land, you'll pay for access fee or a trophy fee and possibly a guide fee etc. If public land you need to sort hunting permits with the Department of Conservation, which normally doesn't cost anything, and hunting can be self guided, or you can do some research on employing a contract hunting guide, which I would suggest. Google is you friend in this case. Getting in touch with a guide is a good start, often they'll have private and public land blocks he/she can take you.

Too much advertising! Plus if I may be so bold to suggest use a car chamois to clean/clear your optics! Been using them for years hunting here in Canada, they remove frost, rain, snow on everything from prescription eye glasses to kids ski goggles, to scope and camera optics. They work they are cheap and they don't scratch the lense.

this show, while cool... is the same thing over and over. literally walks around, says thats not the one, then, im gonna try to get closer, then takes a shot, then the ending.... no variation, just the same formula over and over, and i know hunting is deff not the same formula every single time... but i do like this dude a lot, and i hope he continues to produce quality nature/hunting material for years to come
