RZR Turbo Goes Into Limp Mode - Code 520615

This code isn't documented in the owner's manual, so I thought I'd make a quick video so if anyone else has this issue, they can figure out what's going on. i was in Glamis when this happened. The check engine light went on, and the motor didn't get hot (206 was the highest) but I lost Turbo power, and thankfully, had enough power to get through the dunes. It would go back and forth, it hit the limp mode 5 times, and started to get annoying.
After my trip, I took it into the local Polaris dealer, and had them plug it into the digital wrench. This is a Polaris dealer tool that can read everything (and I mean everything) that your RZR experiences. We found out that the limp mode was caused by the Fox Live Valve suspension, which was weird. I had the shocks resprung and revalved back in October, and have had many trip and trouble free rides. And since the codes have been cleared, no issues either. I talked to the suspension tuner, maybe the changing of the spring rate and valving through off the ECU, RZR's are pretty touchy these days.
My ECU is 100% stock, stock clutching, and after inspecting my belt & clutches (which I initially thought was the problem), it looks great. MY local dealer only charged me half an hour of labor, and it's been great.

So what was the actual cause that made the code up other than re setting the code
can you help me... my rzr have code 1127 fmi 31.. i remplase every sensors tmap and 3 bars, 3 pz after turbo before turbo and up intercooler tanks..

1127 is the popular "overboost" code that can be for a lot of reasons, your best bet is taking it to a Polaris dealer and see what Digital Wrench says, that is a good starting point. I had an ECU tune that caused this, and my racecar has had this code, as the coolant lines were backward, so it can be hard to figure out.
On your madigan cage, is your rear light a Baja designs RTL-S?

Cause is fairly unknown, codes said suspension, no clutching or power issues even after I inspected after the digital wrench. ECU Calibration is finiky so I assumed the shock tuning had something to do with it.
Just got that code today on my 2021 turbo s velocity should I take it to the dealer ?????

Just bought a 2022 RZR turbo R and have only had it out twice, still in the breakin process. The problem is we got the code today and have 2 more days of riding. Can I continue to ride and will this hurt the rzr or should we stop riding it? The code went on then it just went off again.

That's what my RZR did, you can keep driving it, it caused no long term damage and once I fixed it (had a Polaris dealer with Digital Wrench clear the code) I never had the issue again. Since I created this video I've had a lot of people mention this code, for a variety of reasons, so its common, and kind of hard to isolate.

@@hugegiantnothing This code can mean a few different things, I'd take it to a Polaris dealer and have them plug in the "Digital Wrench" to get it cleared, electrical problems are the worst.

@@ChupacabraOffroad it could be the chupacabra mirrors giving my turbo too much steeze for the system to handle. Yeah it's a huge pain my dealer is in Azusa and my car is at dunes storage. I work a pretty gnarly mon-fri schedule so it just bums me out to infinity. This Halloween run was my literal first time out with the turbo R and the damn light popped.
Why would I get the same code to show up on my 19 Velocity? Several times.

After making this video a few others have reached out to me for this same code, for different reasons. It's baffling! Ask your local dealer what it shows, when you are plugged into the Digital Wrench. I'm curious to know, as you don't have the live valve.... please let us know!

Madigan Motorsports in Temecula, CA. They did the doors, spare tire holder, roof rack, and windshield.

I've heard of weird variations of these codes, all I can recommend is to get it to your local dealer and plug in the Digital Wrench.

And just like that can am smart shocks and and rzr live 2.0 lol.... corvette has been using electronic technology in their suspension for years not just electronic but magnetic. Its literally what made it the worlds fastest stock car pulling over a G in corners 😳 and then Porsche ask them to detune it to 300hp🤣😂🤣😂 and Lamborghini and Ferrari wouldn't test with them anymore 🇺🇲🇺🇲🔥
