Based on their performance in call of duty warzone they only have one 16gb stick of ram in single channel, here is a little tip for those going for a ryzen cpu build, instead of having 1 stick of 16gb, have 2 8gb sticks in dual channel, because if you run in single channel, you are seeing about a 25% proformance hit, oh and if you are mixing ram like me (2x4gb sticks, and a 16gb stick) make sure you have the two matching sticks in dual channel, and the not matching stock in one of the quad channel slots, so there is no drop in cpu performance, because the cpu takes from the dual channel slots before either of the quad channel slots, you will have way better performance, and here are my specs, and set up,, for those who would want to know ///////////// Ryzen 3 3200g Gigabyte b450m 24gb ram Thermaltake smart series 500 wat PNY XLR8 1660 overclocked (just as good as the 1660 ti) Seagate barracuda 2tb hdd PNY 240gb ssd Corsair 100r case 3 stock corsair case fans Corsair k63 wireless gaming keyboard Logitech 602 wireless gaming mouse Logitech blue snowball ice Thank you and I wish you all luck in your future Tech endeavors!

Hey so with the same specs will I be able to run fortnite on like lower settings and I won’t have freezing

5:05 in warzone you can see a bottlenecking percentage between cpu and gpu

so if the cpus percent is higher then the gpus percent thats called a bottleneck correct?

Thanks for this test. I already have this cpu and I'm planning to buy this video card in the future. For the moment Vega 8 is serving me well. Glad the cpu could handle this video card well, unless for the Warzone and Odyssey cases where the 4/4 really lacks performance, but to me that's all right.

the 1660 is not running in its full potential because of the cpu, its called a cpu bottleneck you need a decent cpu to pair with this gpu to get its full potential

@@averageporscheenjoyer well this ain't a normal CPU, the 3200G is an APU, it's meant to be own thing really, or for someone who might not be much of a gamer, but might need intergrated Vega graphics to run a few programs. that being said you can use it for games, but in order to get the most out of an APU you need to pair it with a decent B450 or B550 motherboard. the Asus Rog Strix B450-F Gaming II is one example, the Gigabyte B450 Aorus Elite V2 is another example. there both a little over a 100, but there worth it. the gtx 1660 is better paired with the Ryzen 3 3100 or 3300X if you can find it, but you can pair the 3200G with the 1660, but if you want better CPU performance, then turn off the onboard graphics. also one thing to keep in mind, the reason the 1660 was bottlenecking wasn't because of the 3200G, it's because they had a single 16gb Ram stick in single channel. graphics cards require dual channel to run at it's full potential.

@@Yusufmohamed272 i mean specs wise it's not gonna blow you away, but depending on what type of games you play, or the main reason your building a PC in the first place, it'll get the job done. provided you don't hurt yourself like buying a single 16gb ram stick, while 16gb is still fairly reasonable to run most games even by today's standards, but when it comes to any game you always make sure to buy dual ram. two 8 + 8, 16gb ram sticks will perform better than a single 16gb ram stick despite having the same amount of ram. it's all down to how fast the data can travel, and the more data it can move the better your gaming experience will be. you'll get less lag, with a 3200g using a single stick of ram, because the way APU's work, they need all the help it can get. since from a single core workload, it's not as fast as the standard Ryzen 3100 or Ryzen 5 3600 same difference, but to get the most out of an APU your gonna need a decent ram size, but also speed is what's really gonna help.

@zzzzzzz323 don't quote me on this because i could be wrong, but from what i understand listening to certain tech youtubers, i believe your motherboard might not be compatible. i mean granted the 3200g worked for you, but APU's are more like 2nd gen Ryzen than the 3000 series anyway. it's the same for the 5600g, now CPU wise the 5600g is actually pretty decent, but like the 3200g AMD build them a certain way that makes them more compatible with older boards. but im sure with the board you have, you could probably get it to work, but I'd imagine you'd have to do a bit of work. i couldn't tell you really, i would look it up and see what you can find. i mean if it can work, I'd say keep the board you have, but i do know that the 400 series chipsets are meant for the 3000 series specifically. so if you wanna be on the safe side, I'd say take a look at some B450 boards, B550 can also work. although B550 can be confusing, since there were early B550 boards that came out around the time just before the 5000 series. but the board manufacturers released some B550 boards earlier, so out of the box if you went for a Ryzen 5 5600 for example, you'd have to do a bios flash. however there are later B550 boards you don't have to do that with, but it can be confusing since alot of boards have similar names. but if your thinking of getting the Ryzen 5 3600, a B450 or X570 would be the safer bet. B450 would be cheaper, though some X570 boards can be reasonable depending on the brand and the price. other than that i couldn't tell you, if it was me, I'd probably look it up. AMD historically is usually better when it comes to there boards, alot of times you can use one of there latest CPU's on a first gen or second gen board. you can never do with Intel, once in awhile they'll do two board gens like they did before 12th gen. but even then, there's always something different about each chipset that comes out for Intel. with AMD it's mainly a matter of AMD themselves maintaining support for older boards, they usually do most of the time, but that was before Ryzen. i do know AMD has done some updates with the chipsets, even though there all the same socket, but some Ryzen processors might not have support for older boards. especially now considering they have a newer chipset, i haven't kept up with any tech in awhile, not since my last upgrade and that was awhile ago.

if you get the gtx 1660 i would just go for the ryzen 5 3600 or even the 2600 because the 1660 combined with the ryzen 3 3200g makes the gpu get bottlenecked by the cpu meaning your only gonna get a little bit more than half the performance the card can actually give out. just wanted to tell you this because i made the mistake of cheaping out on my cpu

it will help the CPU to breathe a little since it doesn't have to push fps more than 60 whenever it can but it won't help much in certain games like warzone, cyberpunk, battlefield, or any other titles that are CPU heavy. I suggest you look for a new GPU and also a new CPU.

There is actually because the RAM sticks are only 2666mhz. It's advisable to use at least 3000Mhz or much better 3200mhz with the APU and Motherboard. for PSU 450W is fine, but it's better to have an allowance for safety and future upgrades. Please like and subscribe. Thanks! :)

It depends on the game but most likely yes, if you set the graphics into low or mid. the best example we can see is my game test with AC Odyssey, with Very high settings I got an average of 47 fps. No po, di kailangan same ang size pero mas advisable na same ang ram speed. example may 2400mhz ka na ram tapos nag add ka nang ram na 3200mhz, okay naman po siya pero sayang ang 3200mhz mo kasi it will just run sa minimum ram speed mo na 2400mhz. for the ram size po, wala pong 26gb, baka 24gb po yan boss. If may available ka pa na DIMM slots boss, pwede yan lagyan nang kahit anong ram size ang importante same ram speed tapos make sure din na hindi lalagpas nang maximum ram capacity nang mobo mo. It ok except for bottleneck with the 1660 and the slower memory of 2666.

Kuya patulong po plano ko sana bumili ng GPU kasi hindi ako sure kung may 6/6+2pin connector ako, sinubukan ko po mag check kado medyo madaming wires nakatabun pero may nakita akong 2 4pin cables.

depende po kung anong store boss, usually if mall po same prices lang po sila may konting difference lang po. basta't wag kang pupunta nang octagon kasi ibang klase yung prices nila lol... anyway, kung mall lang talaga malapit sayo sir I suggest mag canvass ka nalang sa lahat nang stores diyan tapos bilhin mo yung pinaka mura. I'm sure hindi mo ma kukumpleto lahat nang parts sa isang shop lang lalo na't pahirapan ang stocks ngayon. So canvass lang muna sir pag na finalize mo na dun mo na bilhin. Also sir heads up lang, ang laki nang increase nang mga prices ngayon kasi ang taas nang demand tapos hirap ang supply. So if kaya pa sir wag muna mag madali tamang canvass muna bako bili. You do know having a high hz monitor doesn’t boost your fps right? it just gives you the ability to get higher fps. So if you have a pc capable of 144 fps, but have a 60 fps monitor, you’ll only get up to 60,

Bro can you tell me abt a cheaper gpu

warzone definitely had a big bottleneck

Yeah

ovver clock the cpu and in cod you will get 70 fps

I get better results with my ryzen 3 1200 and 1660ti so I think these test are not accurate

Hello po sir, I'd just like to ask, I'm planning to get a Ryzen 3 3200g paired with an Rx 570 8gb, along with 16gbs of ram (2x8gb 2666mhz). Would this be enough for 1080p 60+fps gaming ?

Yes you would definitely get 60fps or more for most of the games at high or ultra settings. but with the latest AAA games at high or ultra settings you can get 40-60fps average, though you can just lower the graphic settings to improve the performance. Also, I would suggest use higher RAM speed 3200mhz would be best. marami nang stocks ngayon compared when I bought the parts for this PC build. Happy building! Please like and subscribe. Hi Rick suggestion lang sir instead na 3200G bilhin mo mag Ryzen 3 3100 ka na lang di mo naman gagamitin yung iGPU ng 3200G since bibili ka ng GPU and based sa price mas mura ang 3100 and will give you more fps sa games

@@Brian-wg3vh Nag ryzen 5 3400g nalang ako, wala stocks nung ibang cpu dito samin at naubusan din budget for gpu, haha, meron mas cheaper pero refurbished parts kaya nag opt nalang ako for brand new na may magandang upgrade path.

Bossing.. Ryzen5 3400G pero Colorful a320 yung Mobo nya.. oki po ba yun???

brand new ba yan bossing? mas mabuti sana kung b450 yung mobo paired with ryzen 5 3400g. pero goods din naman ang a320 hindi na nga lang future proof kasi hindi na supported for the next gen nang ryzen. hindi ko pa po personally na try ang Colorful na brand boss pero marami naman din gumagamit niyan. Hanap k p, marami k p makikitang murang MoBo n mas Ok vs Colorful. Like MSI A320 A-Pro, Get atleast ung naka nvme m.2 ready x hdmi ndn pra less hassle sa Upgrade path. (A320 Can do Handle upto ryzen 7 2700x. As Long as it's Zen + Arch)

if pure gaming, no othet task, pwede k n mag rely sa rx 570 or 580 4gb/8gb gddr5 or sa gtx 1050ti/1060ti/1070ti. May mkuha k p nian sa price n yan, kht 2nd hand.

Agustin yup! The rx570 is a great card for its price, but u could save up a bit more and go with a rx 580 8g which is way much better.

kayang kaya po boss! with gtx 1660 na video card kayang kaya po 3d autocad neto. and you can also use this for streaming. pero if main use mo is streaming then I would suggest change your CPU to Ryzen 5 and pair it with any gpu para mas smooth ang streaming. sorry po, hindi po kasi mga cracked versions yung mga games ko. pinurchased ko po eto tapos may mga free games din from epic games at tsaka uplay po. pero if need mo talaga mga cracked games you can download po just search skidrow reloaded at fitgirl po. I don't really advise to play games using cracked versions kasi mas gusto ko hassle free at tsaka updated ang games. may mga free naman na binibigay tapos may mga sale din. Esse vídeo ta tudo errado, pra começar a 1660super tem 6gb de RAM, e na estatista da GPU ali ta mostrando uma frequência memoria mais baixa sendo usada, me parece que ele está fazendo o teste na gtx1650super...E outro detalhe, que era pra ser testado com 16gb de RAM na placa mãe, pelo que dá pra perceber só tem 8gb. FAKE!
