Considering that this is music for installation art I really appreciate that they have made the music available. I have listened to music like this for a decade starting with Marihiko Hara Caesura so I really enjoyed it.

This must be space alike. Gives sort of sense of freedom. Makes to remember valuable short passing moments in life that didn't seem so meaningfull, at the time.

how does he do the bell like sounds at around 20 minutes? sounds like tibetan bowls but it is a synth isn't it?

@@okaythisisfuckingrid I guess these bell-like sounds are simple sine waves generated by synths. These waves might be modulated with LFO for a tremolo, or slightly pitch-bended for an interference beat. Some notes seem to be a bit distorted. I suppose he emulated a sound of a shō (笙). Anyway, he loves tibetan singing bowls too. He plays it in Async and his recent works a lot.

コメ欄でStockhausen、Ligeti、Radioheadが連想されてるのがおもしろい。歪ませたアナログパッドのコードが、Kid Aの質感を彷彿させるのかも。 Idiotequeでは初期のコンピュータによる合成音もサンプリングされてたし、ジョニーやトムはMessiaenの影響も受けてたし、このPlanktonと通底するのは1950年代の雰囲気なのかな。

胎内回帰というか薄い膜の中にいる様な、というか刺激が全て信号としてしか感じられない世界ですね

ただ浮遊し流離い続けるだけ。『無』 耳を傾けてもただ私の身体を通りすぎていくだけの音の群れ。なのにざわつく感情。矛盾している私。
宇宙の中にいるような感覚、芸術が持つ力は偉大、死から解放される生から解放されていく物語なんてどうだっていいのだと。
