I have always thought Ryu should have more throws and a longer range for his throws. Ryu has explosive offense, but he feels like a defense focused character. His parry, grabs and throws seems to be a better fit for him. Ken on the other hand is the rush down brawler.

Dunno why you think Ryu should have more focus on throws since he's not a grappler. And Ryu players are constantly throwing already anyways

@@UsoTeaMor how would you characterize Ryu's fighting spirit? He has been portrayed as a seeking to overcome. His personality does not seem that his first action is to throw out a projectile attack. He would study his opponents by parrying, throwing to open up and unbalance them. He is a very technical fighter not a hot head.

1:26 I don't like how claw just decided to cash out vt1 in the middle of combo. For claw that lack anti air option, vt1 as anti air give huge oki or big damage given that claw has ex bars/ca (and claw do not has any bar at that moment, sad)

No it isn't, they always make Ryu 💩 which is absolute bull💩 considering they put him on the box just to sell the game. Take him out the game then see how well it sells. He was useless in SF4 cuz everyone had a dozen anti fireball moves there is no point playing a shoto in SF4 unless you actually like being at a huge disadvantage.
