Honestly, while Ryoji is against us, he didn't really have a choice because of what he is. However, he does wants us to win the fight against Nyx because of us.

I mostly prefer the new voice acting to the original game but Ryoji's "I'm sorry" at 13:00 sounds so much worse.

Not that it’s worse but this Ryoji sounds like he’s swallowing down the issue while old Ryoji sounded distraught at the fact . But that’s just how I see it.

Is there a track name for this 12:00 in the background? I know it's a version of Tartarus but what?

Spoiler He isn't human. He was a shadow/Death that was sealed in MC and because of mc ryoji was able to make a human form.

​@@Kurone-chanSpoilers lol He wasn't born with the Death Arcana, he _is_ the Death Arcana. Hence why his true name is Death. He's a actually a piece of Nyx's psyche, not a human. Nyx is the incarnation of Death, and the Mother of All Shadows. She's a "Star Eater", an extraterrestrial being who collided with Earth billions of years ago. Her body became the moon, while her psyche stayed on Earth. Said pysche was damgerous for the already existing organic lives, so they evolved to "contains" fragments of it. This eventually led to the birth of Humanity, with humans containing Nyx's psyche in the form of Shadows, and thus, Personas. This is also the reason why humans have consciousness; it's a side effect of withholdings her psyche within us; we're literally extensions of Nyx, who can be considered as our collective Mother. "Death"/Ryoji is "The Arcana That Was Never Meant To Be"; he was created 10 years before the start of the game by a group of scientists that studied Persona and Shadows-related phenomenon, along with the Dark Hour. It was created by forcing the fusions of multiple Shadows together.

Let me just correct a small thing: Any people is born with an Arcana, not just in game but in real life. Do you know of the major arcanas, the 22 cards, the ones numbered from 0 to 21? Your Personal Arcana is decided depending on the day you are born, and tells of you aspects you are familiar with. You can also have a secondary Arcana, also known as "annual arcana", which is the card that represents what will you have and witness in the year your in. It's simple math: for persona: sum the number from your birthdate (mm/dd/yyyy). If the result is higher then 22, sum the 2 numbers of the result and that is your Arcana. For annual: same method, but now use the year your currently in. Take me, for example: i was born in 11/20/2002. To find my Personal Arcana, i have to sum all the number of my birthday, so: 1+1+2+0+2+0+0+2=8, so i belong to the Number 8 Arcana, the Justice, which represents the results of my efforts in life and how i must find a balance to it all. As for the annual Arcana, we are in 2024, so: 1+1+2+0+2+0+2+4=12, so in this year i have The Hanged Man arcana, symbolizing to be cautious with relationships and keep quiet and rethink your strategies, when the going gets tough. Any other doubts?
