Ryobi Link organizer review [worth it] let's find out.

Ғылым және технология

The link tool storage system has taken the market by storm! well maybe medium as it slowly adds more and more new items. The parts organizer for the mobile tool storage was the top requested addition as most felt it should've been on the first wave of releases and is a basic staple of any tool storage. Well now it's here and I am putting it to the test! Let me know your thoughts will you buy it? #diy #ryobitools #diytools #lifehacks #powertool #ryobilink #homedepot #homemade

A missed easy opportunity would have been to include extra dividers being able to turn those double wide containers into 3 smaller or more would have been great, also wonder if they will make a triple wide box insert that has divider slots for the big box.

They are just being dumb, they went through all that trouble only to be restrictive.

Another great review, Brent! I was so excited when Link came out but the excitement waned quickly as it was just out of my price range for something I didn’t have to have. I finally got the rolling toolboxes for a reasonable price and for a good purpose so now I’m looking at Link closely again. These cases look sharp and are decently priced considering their competition and cost of many of the other Link accessories. For example, from the large organizer you get $54 worth of bins (if bought separately) for a $45 organizer and $36 in bins for the smaller $35 organizer. If you use the bins on the Link wall rails, you’re buying these organizers for the bins alone. I know you said the existing standalone wall bins won’t fit in the organizer and it wasn’t clear from the video why, but hopefully this is just a design iteration and on the future Ryobi will standardize on one bin size. Good to see the bins are sturdy. For as much as they cost, they better not break easy.

Ryobi boxes don't smell as bad as the other ones, Milwaukie pack outs have some bad out gassing .

The wall bins don't fit in the organizers? 🤯 WHY, RYOBI, WHY??? I hope they discontinue the existing wall bins so all the new bins will fit in the organizers!

I wish that they would come out with like Milwaukee has the half height ones. Do you know the ones are not the full height of the other bins but thin for your nuts and bolts because most of the people don’t need massive bins like that.

I can honestly say I'm not a fan of this addition. The fact they made it smaller than the original stack set which I own. The placement of the sorters has to be way too precise, and not universal, it feels extremely cheaply made, overpriced ($60+🇨🇦) and everyone I've seen so far had a poor door seal or bulge between the locks near the handle. I definitely perfer the dewalt ones which ive owned several of for many years, they're tougher and cheaper.(roughly 30$🇨🇦) I do however like the stack drawer additions for quicker access, but again the width is quite shorter. I love the links tool bag tote addition as well. Also I'll add the half size sorters that aren't available to us yet.

It would’ve been nice to see how they fit on top of the old boxes. Can they sit side-by-side and fit on top of my rolling cart?

I am trying to decide between Milwaukee , Ryobi, & Husky. The Milwaukee looks very nice. Not sure I want to have a parts bin as I am a homeowner just doing simple DIY. Thanks for the video. Nice first name! Lol

I might have missed it but what is the internal measurement of the small bins. Maybe dividers are a missed opportunity for some but not all. as a car detailing enthusiast, a clear top bin for polishing pads would be great. Allowing for quick identification of the pad type with a glance. Typically, I use 5" -inch and 3"-inch pads. Would a 5"-inch pad fit inside one of the bin cups?

I have / love these, but I'm annoyed the bins aren't the same size swappable in the double drawers. Otherwise, they're great and lighter than the small tool box.

Honestly these additions just confirmed to me that I'm never getting this system. Too restrictive and poorly thought out.

Ryobi reminds me of McDonald’s. Micky ds was cheap and know they are probably more expensive than in n out or other better chains of restaurants. Ryobi needs to chill on them prices for the quality being put out.
