Love the theme they put together to make her dorm room side have a "home" feeling. Really nice of Mindy to incorporate many ideas into one theme that would increase Rylans comfortability to adjust to her new lifestyle 🙂😍❤️

My roommate and I covered the dorm chair with a cute/soft blanket!! Made it more comfortable and cute.

My room was TINY just like Rylan’s. The beds were side by side and not in a row but our walkway was so small. We each had a closet and lofted our beds for more room. I remember still not having enough storage. You guys did a great job.

I like the way that is set up to where you can really have your own space in half of the dorm. Mine was not set up that way and was more difficult to organize.

Wow with Rylan's experience. Sometimes I would like to change my room a little bit but not so often with some other things that I have been doing and I really want to replace the items in my room so it's a great way to share some of my experience when I move out I am planning to do that and maybe show some people that I know in my area and I do not want to drive right now.

Did the roommate agree to the mini fridge being placed into the depths of Rylans half of the room? I personally wouldn’t want to sneak into their half of the room every night for a late snack lol

Ok as the mom of one college daughter and one soon to be in college she’s a senior now thank you for the storage ideas . We just put our oldest who is 20 back on the plane today after Christmas break .

Wow England makes more sense. And Your room is it a suite too? In US we actually have roommates and the dorm is really small. Lol my cousin is studying in Michigan University and he has to share a room with his roommate. He dosent like the room at all lol I feel for him there usually small. I don't know but having a small room and sharing it dosent really give you space. What if you want alone time. You can't if you're roommate is there lol feel claustrophobic to me. I just can't I can have a small room to myself but sharing the same room with someone else can't do it. I would have complete anxiety.

Wow it’s really lovely! How did the roommate like it? My daughter is starting college in the summer and I would be worried to make any shared decor spaces unless we consulted with roommate. I would definitely like to get about a 4x6 rug so she can do her stretches and yoga and it just makes a room so much cozier. Some dorms don’t allow any curtains, but I think her college (Florida State), does. Excited. Our son went straight to a 4 bedroom apartment and I never saw it after the first day. He did not decorate at all, that I know for sure. Lol.

I dormed like this for my freshman year. It just takes a little creativity to make it feel like home.

I feel like the sink should be in the middle of the girls room, it feels like the roommate will go over to her space. It’s kind of weird that right by her bed.

When I moved into my dorm room last fall, we went to target soooo many times bc we were always forgetting something. My dad said that if we went to target one more time, he’d be traumatized lol

You did a great job decorating. Very jealous.
