Onboard a Ryanair flight operated by Malta Air, from Stansted across to Nuremberg, Germany on Saturday 15th June 2024. A quite nice start to the journey in Stansted, a bright sunny June morning, with just a few clouds for our 06:55 departure time. We took off around 7:10 and made a left turn towards Colchester and over Walton-On-The-Naze then out into the English Channel. Reaching landfall on the Belgium coast just south of Ostend. Climbing straight up to 37,000ft. Then after that it was quite overcast, not much to see until on descent. A very grey, wet morning in Nuremberg, lots of heavy rain around. We seemed to have arrived just after a heavy downpour, leaving lots of surface water on the runway. Our pilots certainly did their bit towards drying it, using the reverse thrust. Some great water effects and visuals during the landing.
