The amount of respect I have for Ryan is unexplainable. He sat on these clips for 5 years, released them to the public demanding nothing in return but acceptance for scooters as an industry and blew action sports productions out of the water! I've rewatched the intro so many times now. It's a masterpiece. The ramping up of the music when it cuts to his garage door revealing his license plate, the vocals starting as he flips the handrail, and then hearing him shout "WOOO" after landing the flip sets up the perfect level of stoke for the edit. It's all so fluid and beautifully edited. Props to Ryan and especially Nickeh for that.

Watched this when it first came out, and I’m watching it now. Almost made me cry knowing in these couple of years, the kids I used to ride with grew up, and we all moved on. I recently got back into riding, and i hope to be as good as I used to be. 21 isn’t too old to ride still, right?

Hey man I just wanted to say you are absolutely amazing I love watching your videos and I love watching you overcome things that people constantly tell you that you can't do or is impossible or is not worth trying. You have the same mindset I do dream big then put them into action and to never quit trying until you have officially accomplished your dreams. It's 90% mental and 10% physically doing it and if you can get up the courage to do it you can accomplish anything and should shoot for everything. Stay inspiring and never change who you are.

I've never scootered ever, and I'm limited on a BMX, I've done skateboarding etc... but this BLEW my mind, just utter crazy dedicated and commitment and talent!

This is why Ryan is the best scooter rider of all time not only the tricks he does but also the dedication he has to the sport as well as his versatility Kota may be able to do kickless and bris Jordan Clark may be able to do a ton of flips but neither of them can ride street nearly as well as he can he can also add steez into tricks which is not something many park riders can do and he could do tricks that both of them can do so long as he sets his mind to it

We're all on wheels, yeah we like to think ours is better, and sure, give the others a hard time and call each other names in a light hearted way, but never be mean about it. We each have different skill sets, and freaks like the awesome RW I'm sure will tell you that anyone who properly does more than one type of wheels always has respect for those on different wheels 🙂👍 Just like the inline, Trad rollerskaters, etc... Until RW I just never seen how much scooters evolved... I first came across RW with his win at X games on BMX. So if skaters are bulling you and your friends, they're missing the true spirit of skating and are not cool 🙂

Ryan, I am 29 and really been getting back into riding this past year after a 3 to 4 year fall off. I fell in love with scooting back when I was 17. You and Brendon Smith are my two biggest idols. I see so much of myself in you, you branched out to biking and I branched out to skating-and it pushes me to push the limits and go for what makes me feel alive…the rush, the risk. I think people forget that Ryan competed at the 2016 Worlds in Barcelona but did not qualify for the finals, yes nobody in this world would even attempt the tricks in this video, but being good at throwing down bangers over a mega ramp compared to holding down a insane consistent run under pressure is a completely different thing I'm not taking anything away from Ryan but you can't say he is best in the world

That's a good point. I see Ryan as a more Evel Knievel type of athlete, as he does things only a few people on this planet would ever try like you said. That's very different to someone who can hold a consistent run, so they are very different in a sense. I much prefer what Ryan does compared to the riders who do better in the world championships, as the tricks he does nearly cause your heart to come up into your mouth.
