Grew up watching shecks. this take guts, props to him.

Ryan there’s a tear down my cheek as I watch this . I grew up a skater, part of the “skate or die” culture.. you know how it is . I became a Christian but have fallen away in my walk due to me chasing after the world and not being “where my feet are” as you said in the video. This gives me hope that God can and has forgiven me through his son Jesus who I felt like I once knew very well. Thank you for your leadership- no celebrity such as yourself has to come out and say these things because there’s so much to lose in the world , but it’s the people like you and even Kanye that have courage and speak through the darkness that this world can be . Thank you !

I’m the same age as Ryan now and always grew up idolizing him. I was technically saved when I was 16 but man has it been a roller coaster of a ride since then. Always falling in and out of partying but now finally being 30 this is the longest I’ve been sober since I was 19. Probably sort of irrelevant but felt like I wanted to share and am totally with sharing the love of Christ and doing what you are called to do in this life.

Wow, major, major respect to Ryan Sheckler. I remember him growing up and had no idea how he’s turned his life around. He is no so well spoken, articulate and mature. I give huge pros to him for going against the image and culture of what the stereotypical skate boarder image is.

I've always been a fan of Ryan Sheckler. He's my idol & inspiration to be a better person. I'm 26 & man this was beautiful and eye opening to watch. My dad has stage 3 Colon cancer & I've never felt so alone & afraid that my dad might not see tomorrow. But i keep my head up & ask God to help me when i feel alone or im struggling with addition or the world going to fast. God bless Ryan Sheckler 💙. Pray for those who are hurting & need guidance.

Is it weird that I was feeling very sad and down due to drinking wanting to stop but always going back to it I felt so ashamed of myself and for some reason I started looking up what Ryan was up to because I used to be so into skating and today I turn this on and it February 3 and the page he read was February 3 ! I am just so amazed and happy to see how intelligent Ryan Sheckler is for being so young. I have to admit that when he said the name Jesus.......it made me do a double take! He talks about "God" "The Lord" "Jesus." It..........I'm sorry to say but it shocked me! Here is a young, wealthy, famous young man who dared to say the name Jesus in front of a camera!?!?!?? The Hollywood rule is that anyone who says they believe in Jesus is forever kicked out of Hollywood!! He doesn't care about those Hollywood rules! WOW!!! I have never been so impressed with someone!! His entire interview floored me with how he is so wise beyond his years he is! I don't think I could possibly be a bigger fan of Ryan's!!
