I am conflicted here. I understand what they were going for. The thing is, they had given the Origins version of the character any other name, it would have been well received. The visuals and combat scenes involving the final part of "Deadpool" were really cool.

Well in the "dreadpool" comments the xmen tried to do something similar and dreadpool (alternate deadpool) killed and reanimated the whole marvel universe. Only reason why he brought everyone back was to kill em all over again.

I think there could totally be another version of Deadpool played by another actor. If it was more comic accurate, that would be an interesting role for someone

"I'll do it, but it's the _wrong_ version" I love Ryan 's involvement in the character, he loves and understands Deadpool and it shows in everything. He genuinely puts in work to make this character as accurate and enjoyable as possible and the movies wouldn't be the same without him ❤.

I love how in Deadpool 2 in the end credits, he travels back in time to that specific reveal scene in the wolverine movie and he just shoots that version of deadpool in the head

Let Ryan Reynolds take control of the MCU, he has the vision.

Ryan Reynolds was made to play Deadpool and Hugh Jackman was made to be Wolverine. I think most of the original Avengers cast was perfect as well.

No, some of us didn't think the Origins version of DP was terrible; appropriate for the script even. In fact xmen origins did make money so it wasn't a flop but a success. I am a bit puzzled at all the negativity Origins gets.

It should've been a totally new character even if he doesn't exist in the comics, rather than making him being Deadpool.

Ryans dedication to making that happen is legendary, and I'm glad there's plenty of wade wilson to enjoy years later!

taking a huge risk in leaking footage to revive the movie that nearly got canned because the studio didn't listen to his predictions about origins?? absolute legend, i'm so glad his hard work and gambit paid off

Gotta love how rich people can make horrendous decisions that haunts the people pressured to comply especially since they (and not the rich idiot who doesn't know what they are doing) become the face of that failure. Lucky Reynolds got the chance to correct it

Wolverine origins Deadpool is actually spot on for who the character is prior to him actually becoming Deadpool.

i LOVE THIS STORY! As someone who worked in CGI back in the 90's/00s, some idiot suit who didn't know the material at all and thought they got to waste everyone's time, money and efforts, was the norm!

I forget the name of the series but there is an evil Deadpool "clone" made up of a bunch of his old body parts where he is effectively trying to die works with the avengers and meets the queen of England while a psychologist obsesses over him. If Undertale was Realistic

I love Ryan so much, for an actor to realise themselves that the actor they are forcing him to play as ISN'T the character they were hoping to play as, speaks so much to the fans and the fact that they are THAT stubborn to not listen to others. I'm SOOOOO glad they let Ryan Reynolds' real personality, dry sense of humor and incredible comedic timing be who Deadpool really is. THIS is more of the idea, and how I I had envisioned him for The Green Lantern.

An often glossed over part of the movie is that in the beginning Deadpool is literally the same as in his solo movie except PG-13 and no fourth wall breaks. Basically implying THEY DID DEADPOOL CORRECT which makes it even more ridiculous that they took away his mouth. They got it right and still did that

Tbh when I first watched Wolverine: Origins, I didn't even know that was deadpool at the time, I thought it was a clone of Wolverine, like X28 (least I think that's the number) but yeah, ya know they done goofed when most people can't even tell it's Deadpool

I loved that movie 🎥 and part two also❤, not to mention Ryan Reynolds’s is one of the greatest characters of my generation and is very nice to watch on camera too 😉
