Amen to that! He is the exact opposite of Ryan Pace, who had no idea what to do.

Best Bears GM since Jim Finks (The guy who drafted 21 of the 22 starters of the 85 Bears).

Poles on the same page as most fans when he says “history is the history I’m done talking about it”. That includes the 85 Bears as great as they were that was a long time ago. Time to make new history and win.

I'm 27, born and raised in Chicago and I can say this is the first time I've witnessed a GM actually care so even if it doesn't work with him right away or on the first go round, I still respect it, he understands what the fans want and that's to just win consistently and show you're actively trying to fix the problem, all a GM can do is put the tools out there and the rest is up to the coaches and players, it's a breath of fresh air in this city unlike all our franchises except for the Blackhawks

SOOOO Happy with the two picks. Just seeing how Rome and Caleb have been hanging out prior to the draft and to be able to get them both is amazing. Its obvious those two have already started to build that friendship and bond and now with both able to come to this team together is amazing. The thought of Rome being able to learn with Keenen and DJ and not have that pressure of being the only one. The weapons on offense is so exciting! I cannot wait for football. In Poles we trust! Poles and the Bears front office did a great job in the off-season acquiring free agents, and in the first round of the draft so far. This should be a fun season.

Very impressed with Pole’s poise and articulation. That trade he made with the Carolina Panthers last year was the single best move made by any Bears GM since I became a Bears fan in 1965.

I see an Executive of the Year award coming to Poles in the next few years 🏆. Bro has been cookin since he's gotten here 👨🏽‍🍳. Caught some luck in there too. We're on the right track, for sure! 👊🏽🐻⬇️ ᵀʰᵃⁿᵏ ʸᵒᵘ ᴸᵒᵛᶦᵉ, ᵃˡˢᵒ.

@user-xr9li2sz6l Are you high? This draft was VERY offensive heavy, but a steep drop off of talent after 3rd round. This wasnt the draft to hit up defense, next year will be. DJ is here for 2 years, Allen for at least one, maybe 2 if extended correctly. Eventually, we would NEED to draft a receiver to be #1 right away. This way, Odunze isnt asked to take the heat of a WR1 and can contribute right away while still learning the NFL game.

The quote "players know" was from the video and Ryan Poles was referring to the fact that "players know" when a coach or GM is being a hypocrite, keeping players who don't deserve to be on the roster simply because they are favorites. "Players know" was his admonishment to always do the roster the best service you can by not keeping players who don't deserve to be on the roster. You're a fool and a half if you don't believe that man is tougher than YOU, sobbing in his mama's arms for sure, but you could never endure what it takes to do what he does on the field. He suffered many losses and didn't cry, that was a game they meant more to him for some reason . I played sports and many players cried after losses, if you played sports I guarantee you've seen players cry too, even in the pros. If that's the best you got you should just stop

I'm happy with the draft, but I still think defense at 9 was a bigger hole to fill than WR 3 . Bears have a serious 4th qtr defense problem. How many games were lost in the 4th because defense could not finish?
